because kinect still comes with the xbox One and the Ones features were sort of built around it sorta plus at this point of time since there still supporting it it would be completely and utterly stupid to put out a cheaper non kinect version.
wouldn't say its a 180. more like a 90 degree turn i still don't see why its such a great thing to patronize them because there not keeping to there initial plans because there consumers don't like them. Its a billion dollar company these decisions will have a huge impact on them in the future no matter if the consumers or MS were right or wrong.

Indeed this with the addition of there Modding support ( depended on the developer though) We could see great mods for the kinect on games we like to play considering how supportive most of the populous was toward the mods online fr PC.
Id rather them try to be unique and present a new way to play instead of fallowing the crowd.

Thats the thing too people say that this would of lead to sales and stuff like steam but when you really add in the fact that its Microsoft its highly doubtful. I mean they were the only guys being payed for there service for years before PS plus and they still gave us basically crap.

they should put up a Alpha footage tag on the videos seeing how people always jump the gun when it comes to footage and dont keep up with the games current progress.
Only thing I wasnt ok with was the 24 hour check thing mostly. DRM and all of that would of been ok if they had mentioned the kinect scanning earlier and if it was actually a quicker way for bringing your games over to friends.
yes they should of stuck to there vision while giving out all the details that gamers really needed to hear. Hell they could of did some video detailing all of it but they just backed off.
