I;m glad to see that your experienced in the older games but your supposed to want to avoid detection that's the point of being a splinter cell I can understand them streamlining to make the combat shooting wise more smooth but they took it way overboard and lost the vision of what the Sam fisher series was first and foremost. I can understand wanting freedom and stuff i mean choosing loadouts and stuff wasn't exactly new to the series as it is in chaos theory just to a lesser extent....

You could play how you wanted in the older ones too it just wasn't flashy and filled with slow mo stuff. -_- i didn't play it but from what ive seen the stealth is not there it went from unique and in depth stealth experience to the standered copy and paste of a lot of so called stealth in other games. We went from carefully moving the thumbstick afraid of moving to fast to just pressing b and moving like a Ninja Cheetah. Really after replaying splinter cell chaos theory sp and online I can safely say that the series back then was at its highest point and it went down with conviction.

that goes to the constant yearly releases and less focus on graphics and staying true to the game play that fans love which in that area I applaud COD ( getting Halo 4 flashbacks) The issue i find with ghost is that really it doesn't seem all that great the story is crap compared to black ops. Most of the people o know that bought it really just bought it because its COD. The cycle just repeats itself like with Apple stuff. They hype it up with sale figures and memorable commercials and small little features that people will barely use until the next year when they do it all over again.

indeed if they saw an online MMO style COD that gives out updates and new stuff like maps and such that's not behind some sort of DLC paywall that would have a large effect on there system. Then again ive seen people give up family time just to play some COD so the possibility of it not affecting it much wouldn't be that far fetched.

why is it that all these late sites are reviewing this game thrashing it and still doesn't have a COD ghosts review up ? I just want to see there input on that game because if I see anything about the story being great then I know something messed up with them.
true sad how Halo 4 went away from the non generic gameplay to be more like the generic games of today.
