Hell if the demo looks as good as it does now I'm sure the final game 1080p at 30fps I'd take it.. still hoping for 60 though.. I'm more curious on how the multi player will be though.. wonder if it will be like BF with destructible environments and vehicles.. next Gen Killzone mech battles anyone?!?
They did not have finalized hardware at the conference so I assume they have a couple of dev kits with more or less powerful components just not drastically different architecture so when they get to E3 and when Microsoft unveils there Nextbox they will give the more difinitive hardware they will release
Think I read an article where they said not only were they running an alpha code of Killzone Shawdow Fall on a old devkit, they only used 1.5 GB of RAM. So I can imagine by E3 when they have finalized hardware and implement the 8GB *or 6.5GB depending how much the OS and Share feature will eat up* GG will get it running 1080p at 60fps.. or close enough... prolly 45 or 50
1080p should be standard and 60fps should be the target... but, a stable frame rate of 45 or 50 during heavily intense situations should be mandatory for all PS4 games. I don't care if the frame rate Drops to 45 if 64 players in BF4 are C4ing buildings watching them fall apart, helicopters attacking tanks, and just all out war is just breaking out simultaneously.. I just shouldn't notice it dip too bad in the frame rate department when I play.
Care to explain?
I believe they are using a unified 8GB of GDDR5 memory instead of splitting it.
An unfinished gimped PS4 dev kit is running an alpha code Killzone Shadow Fall and it ALMOST looks as good as Crysis 3 at 1080p on Ultra Settings. Keyword, ALMOST. So probably at E3 or a litte bit after.. when all the hardware is finalized along with the updated 8GB GDDR5 RAM and put the finishing touches on KSF... Im sure this game will be on par if not better than Crysis 3... Im trusting GG to make it better. Really interested on the multiplayer though... hope its 64 players.
I need a 64GB or 128GB card
Anyone else imagine a Gran Turismo 6 simultaneous launch on all 3 platforms; PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation VITA... competing against everyone on all 3 platforms... that would be a pretty awesome reality.

Well isnt Killzone Shadow Fall an unfinished game? Isnt it possible GG will tighten up graphics and get the game running at 60fps by Holiday 2013? What was shown was already very impressive, I can only imagine what the finished product will look like.
Nope Dualshock 4 looks great to me! No Sony fuck up there
Yea Sony What gives? go all the way with 1080p
Planetside 2!! But no.. a next gen NBA 2K14 would be nice and Killzone 4
$600 would be no problem honestly, for me at least. Considering I would fork over that much for a smart phone or tablet or buying everyone drinks on Friday... but for the general consumer, I would assume $399 - $449 would be there sweet spot for a powerful next generation console.
Wonder if they will implement NFC support for PS4 similar to that of Sonys new Bravias where you tap your phone with NFC functionality to the remote and it mirrors what's on the phone on the big screen.
$449 and probably to make the investment sweeter, they may add the PlayStation 4 EYE for more value.
