It's only on this site too. I go to other sites and no one is talking trash. I mean, ya, there are a few haters, but majority don't act like this... The arrogant assholes must all be drawn here by something...
Don't want to piss people off here but for me, only the PS4 could take the hype from Nintendo. Honestly, if the 720 came out now, what would they have? A new Forza maybe, Halo 4 ported over from the 360, and more Kinect...

Based on the pre E3 video as a whole, I think they are aiming for a wider socialization than just family.
Wii was more family. WiiU seems more like it's reaching out to friends and other people around you(hence the main wiiu menu including random people's miis too).
Just my opinion though...

Don't want to start a battle here but technically achievements can be seen going back a lot further than Spyro 2. E-Motion which released in 1990 had 5 achievements in it for example.
Ya, skill points are what shaped achievements/trophies on PS360, but they weren't the first to use that basic idea...
