gears looks awesome ... play it on hd man ... the lighting and shadow work along with some seriously heavy textures the game looks brilliant....
and in terms of gameplay it is fuc*ing intense ... some of the most fun i've ever had playing gears was co op with my buddies ... nothing beats the intensity of beating wave 50 of horde on hardcore armed with only a sniper rifle, shotgun and pistol

i think so... but it wont be only to sony... its a group of companies that strated blu ray... i think they're called the blu ray disc organization... which include 20 companies with the likes of apple, panasonic, dell, samsung, sony, warner bros etc... no microsoft though
that would mean to play those upcoming games you need that 50$ (?) blu ray add on.... if that happens then developers would be very cautious in making those expensive, time consuming, huge as* games coz the people that havent upgraded yet will not be able to play the said game... so its a no buy from that audience
that means that 30 mil install base for 360... goes down the toilet doesnt it ... developers lose money and ms loses the developers... it would be a stupid move from ...
i think its for their new x engine .... gamasutra has a lot of praise for it .... apparantly their first project with it is with halo reach ... but the 1 gb ram is already put to good use ... looking at forza 3 and alan wake ... they should have done this earlier...

i remember the sequence ... its 1 light for the hard drive error ... 2 lights for the over heat error and 3 lights is for the gpu error(the infamous rrod) ... four lights is coz of an unattached component cable...
since the dev kit attatches to the hard drive slot ... i'm guessing thats reason for the 1 light ? not an error just a indication that its all set to go ?
I doubt it will have any effect though.

nothing beats the intensity of ariel dog fights in this game .... the joy you feel after bringing a bird down is awesome... same with shooting a plane right out of the sky with a anti aircraft gun ... i'll be buying this soon
umm forza 3 does not require a hard drive to play
i'm really interested in what he had to say about splitting doom into 3 discs ... fps and tps games are desinged in such a way that multi disc is a viable option .. good stuff ... they can utilize the extra memory to push the consoles harder

and yes ps3 exclusives are looking good ... the same was said about the 360 2 years ago... times keep changing.. games take a year or two to make and one of those games in that time span will push the limits... alternately for each console at that... and besides pushing the bar in graphics is always good news for gamers... i have a feeling for 360 ha...
