after uc4 it truly seems that ps4 still has so much more potential. i know each engine and each development team have their own issues of handling their tech but omg naughty dogs game is just breathtaking in every aspect

Just finished it a few hours ago. Still just amazed at how good this was. Can't believe naughty dog consistently deliver such quality games. How has no one else reached this bar of quality character development and presentation yet is baffling

qb was awesome. maybe try uc4 on discount or something. those uc games are worth experiencing.

super curious about her star wars game.

@Tobsessan Well yeah that's a problem with uc specifically.

Tlou was better at this coz they had a character progression system and pseudo rpg elements. The game had more game elements than uncharted.

Uncharted is straight up left trigger right trigger and press x to jump to next ledge game play. The quality of the game totally depended on set pieces and quality of characters in those cut scenes. That's why uc1 hasn't aged that well. But uc2...

Yeah the over animated floaty movement while amazing in single player doesn't really lend itself to the multiplayer. At least for me. Discarding mp, tlou sp is in a class of its own.

@shadowKnight lol yes true true. Omg that story was so bad. I'm such a halo fan and even I couldn't find anything redeemable in that campaign. Those hub missions which just want you to go to someone and talk and calling it a chapter once the objective is complete, just so bad. Can't believe no one has reached close to high bar story telling like nd has. Tlou should be a template of how to do cinematic game story telling and character development. Cinematic campaigns and roller coa...

Yeah halo 5 is really doing it well. Free map packs for days.

Yeah campaigns in mw1 and mw2 were just so good. Closest thing ea got to a decent military campaign was the moh reboot. And the campaign in the second one was so bad that the series went into limbo after. Battlefield is surviving on its large scale slow paced team based mp mode. On the campaign front it hasn't delivered at all

To be fair to cod battlefield hasn't delivered it's promises on the campaign front for a long while. Cods advanced warfare was pretty good. Both bf3,4 and hardline were super average and forgettable. If anything battlefield has more to prove in the campaign front than cod

yeeeah. i got alan wake from the qb pre order and started playing through it again. And finally finished witcher 2 last month through it. So far i'm liking the bc stuff. it just sucks i cant play gears 3 horde on it coz of the terrible framerate. but for the most part bc is pretty useful.

I really liked qb totally worth it. The time travel story and the way it unfolds is pretty good. And game play is also good. Once you get all the abilities its fun to mish mash the different powers to tackle bad guys. Qb is a solid 8. Pretty much like Alan wake. Very good.

Different people reviewed it for gameapot. Each had different tastes. Tom mcshay reviewed last of us back in the day and gave it an 8. Personally I really like him and his opinions even though tlou was pretty much a 10 on 10 for me.

Just keep in mind different people review different games over there.

If you're saying quick toss unbalanced multiplayer in gears then I'm going to plead ignorance on that because i barely touched any of the pvp modes.

But the quick toss was need for me in horde and campaign especially after judgment and then going back to gears3. Especially in the boss waves of horde. So much micromanaging happens with active reloads, weapon switching and cover jumping during these intense sessions that quick toss would really help out.

Mm. Never been a fan of switching grenades in gears. The one thing judgement did well was incorporate a dedicated grenade throw button. I was hoping they'd use that in gears 4 instead of the switch to grenade to throw.

As long as the campaign is great and horde is present. I'm excited for it. Gears pvp was never enjoyable to me.

2 of my favorite developers. I grew up with Max Payne and tlou is still one of the best games ever made. Good to see this love between remedy and nd
