To be fair, a hardware driven system is superior. I bought the Asus VG248QE in preparation of getting the DIY kit as this tech is exactly what I've wanted for years. While it is a bit pricey, the reviews seem to be incredibly positive.
I have nothing against the PS4, I have everything against people who feel it is actually a powerful unit for the price. These 499 steam boxes are spec wise more powerful than the PS4. Very few single player games are worth the full new game price. I think I can name 10 ever that kept me interested. However, multiplayer games that last me nearly 1000 hours were well worth the price of admission.

You did say that actually, just not in the same words. It is something to get hyped over, if you are into those type of games. A lot of people are, hence why L4D (even before the free Christmas day special) had a constant 10,000 people on at any time of day. That is a pretty good amount for a several year old game.
So don't play them. Not that difficult. There are more non-FPS games released every week than these games you despise so much. Why should an entire fan base be left without something because you are upset that the industry isn't catering to your specific needs? You are what is wrong with gaming.

There will always be input delay, roughly 2/3 the speed of light with IDEAL conditions. "But that is so fast", the matter of milliseconds when playing a shooter is in game life or death.

You should probably learn to spell and type properly if you ever want to form an argument. The reason the Wii U has more games is because it has been out longer. That is an arbitrary statistic. Also, the Wii U is not as powerful as the other systems, but they aren't powerful at all. PC is the only real hardware with any "oomph" behind it. Don't get me wrong though, I do enjoy my Wii U. It's the only console I'll own of this generation.
Hitting 1080p isn't hard, it's getting 60 FPS as well. I'm also being generous and forgiving that there is no AA or any other DX11 type features on the games.
First off, it has only sold 2 Million so far. Steam has ~5 million users online at any given time. I believe the unique users per month is something like 70 Million, but I could be mistaken on that number. You should fact check before making comments.
@make72 Except for the fact that you didn't get a GTX 780. If you really think it looks better on console then you do not own this card. Why would someone naming others as "PC Nerds" spend 500 on a video card? The reason you want a smaller screen (Which you can also use a TV on a PC) is for a higher pixel density.
@ftrain The PS4 is fine for what it is, but it does not have amazing performance. It can't even run Battlefield 4 at 1080p to reach 60 fps.
Frame rate will still be 30 fps. I hate looking at games under 100 FPS now. Before someone tells me there is no difference in 30 or 60, aside from being wrong, there is an even bigger difference between 30 and 144. (Only if you have a 144hz monitor, of course).
I have played both, GTA:O was a mess at launch. So I waited for it to get fixed, and it did see some improvements. About 3 hours into playing I realized how boring it was. On roughly 100 hours of JC2MP. It's a shame the console only people will miss out on it.

It isn't overblown. I haven't even had the worst of problems and I'm still fed up with it. I play on PC and I have a very solid setup that handles the game at 100+ FPS on Ultra. The problem is, I have crashed in the campaign every time I've tried to play it longer than 15 minutes, and multiplayer is a crapshoot of when I'll get dc'd and lose my progress.
Also, just because you don't have the same problems doesn't mean others do not.

SO first off, you were already pointed out as being incorrect about how to get a titan. Maybe you should learn about a game before you defend it? Secondly, if a game is making it easier for new players to get points, then the game is terrible. Whatever happened to skill shooters?
