You do raise some good points, especially about how I will essentially be boycotting any developer who makes extra use of the power available to PC users. I never looked at it in that way before, but what you are saying is right. I'm not saying I'm boycotting them because I resent what they are doing or whatever, I just can't play a downgraded version of something when there is a much much superior one out there.
Unfortunately I don't have a gaming PC any more. Therefore I have the choice of either BF3 for 360 or PS3 seen as I have both HD Consoles... However, I refuse to buy a game on either platform that I have when there is a much superior version out there whether I have access to it or not!!!
The point is, that both current gen consoles have proved they can both handle over 24 players simultaneously and if Dice can't be bothered to increase the player count for HD console...
I don't see Sony starting to charge for "Pay to Play" ... Free PSN is such a huge selling point for Sony!
It's a flip between this and Crysis 2 for me, unfortunately Crysis 2 is just edging it at the minute. If EA want me to buy this game (not like they care though as I'm buying one of their products regardless which game I get) they need to bring out a demo (which I think they are doing) like they did with NFS: Most Wanted.

You make it sound like every game on the PS3 uses servers and every game on the 360 uses P2P. It totally depends on the game and the developer.
Any service could use servers or P2P. I respect your opinion if you think PSN is better, but don't make it sound like only PSN can run or has servers.

I'll be playing GT5 later today so I'll save my judgement till then unlike the rest of this community which just downplays Forza because it's a XBOX game.
Reviews are good and convenient for Sony fanboys when they are in favour of their games, anything below perfect and they rage like a bunch of idiots and start hating on the competition.

I agree with you, I own both and I don't hate on either. I sometimes find myself defending the 360 more because of the pure amount of PlayStation fans on this site but I really enjoy both.
Anyway, hopefully I get GT tomorrow, pre-ordered ages ago and I usually get games a day before release as I order online so fingers crossed :) I will have to find something to delete though as I only have a 40Gb console :(

I played the MoH beta on the PS3 and I didn't think it was all that. It felt like it tried to implement all the "good" attributes of CoD and Bad Company, but in the end it wasn't as good as either.
I definitely admire the effort and with some tweaks I think it could actually be a decent shooter. (not that we're short of them)
