I'll be picking it up. the first 5 days should see it average 500k.. and it'll do fine over the life time, i think the 256 players online has it in at the selling point. MAG will surpass alot of people expectations. believe it.
And also because the game has reached the quota of 150k pre sale game purchases via online. thats always the criteria, so even if MASS EFFECT wasn't doing midnight release MAG has already sold in pre release Sales excess of 150k... it's enough to merit a midnight launh.
If you check Gamestop's website front Page, MAG is the number 3 best seller on their website, and that right after Both ME and Battlefield bad company2, and surprisingly it's the PS3 versioon of Battlefeild thats the best seller, these arent just 5 dollar preorders, the ones made online are full purchases, and thats how they tally it up. so as of right now there are about 230k plus full purchased MAG orders online and shipping, with who knows how many reservation orders instore for this game....

MW2's textures arent even High res, the fact that MAG is 720p native makes the game that much sharper. I would think that with this game being so lare in scale for online tech and server coding that this game would pull a COD and have sub HD res, but this game evening in the open beta looks amazing, by the best looking map would have to be the south central american maps for Raven. In this game it's not about Killing people, it's aboput completing the objectives and helping your team progress to every objective. the sabotage maps are expertly balanced and if you've got a squad with good team mates and great leader you'll level up very fast. It's a beta, so this is a given, and given how large this test is, 5x larger than the NA beta this is bound to happen. most of your issues comes from the online aspect of the game because it does thrive on online. any game with Play create and Share means online integration is integral. If you played with the game offline you'd see that this game runs smoothly it only starts to chugg when you are online and thats understandable, there are 99,999 other people playing this game online with you ...
It's freaking amazing seeing Helgans and Chimera Gun it out, now all the need to do is add in some of the weapons from all of the games and we have an even better DLC...
Hale and Drake verses Chimera and Helgans is awesome.. Take not Guys, RE3 with these kind of graphical assest wont be too far off. ^^
