Now that it has set pieces giant Necromorphers and nimbler characters suddenly its just another 3rd person shooter! I swear Internet gamers are a theatrical bunch. Looking this good its just hard pressed for me to want to upgrade. There is a wealth of new software that's currently coming and especially for the PS3 Beyond, GoW:A, TLOU, TLG, PS All-Stars, and a ton of Vita Games! I'm fully happy with PS3 right now! And I'll prolly be happy for the next 2-3 years considering Sony will have some of its best Games at the end of its console cycle.
I like the fact that there is more control off the character versus Heavy rain. HR was brilliant but this seems to be miles ahead interms of its interactivity! its more free in the sense of giving you control to really move around in the game world versus HR. Its awesome! and Absolutely jaw Dropping! Even More so than HR which had graphics inconsistencies

The game is confirmed to be Unreal Engine 3.5 with direct x11 features. So the game right now is pc but almost certainly by the looks of it will be a next generation platform release. At the Very least. The demo proved that this was beyond the capabilities of consoles in the current gen with its impressive particle effects and physics system. The graphics also reeled of polish and smoothness, even sharper than ND's "The Last Of Us"
From terrible design choices and and horrible controls. They weren't creepy or scary, infact the only terror came from the fact that they purposefully crippled your character to instill fear to compensate the dumb AI the enemies had.
RE4 was the best Resident Evil game released, it was well paced, plenty of atmosphere and some great scare moments. RE5 was a full on action game.
And RE6 looks to be a marriage of RE4 and RE5. I have to say. The AI in RE6 ...
The initial trailer had me hyped but the end result just made it a generic experience! Wasn't worth the hype nor the rental I gave it. >_> the bugs this game had were almost as frustrating as the bugs I experienced in Skyrim. Not treading down this road again. I'm good on zombies!
and then layered with motion capture. Last of Us just has even better pacing than Uncharted 2 & 3, equally as brilliant a narrative and even better AI, and arguably better graphics. In fact The best we've seen this Gen! Its Dynamic. you can play a level of Uncharted and the enemies all react the same. In the Last of Us the way you play is ever depended on what you choose to do, and the AI changes on the fly! Its just amazing.
Gun Play is even better in the Last of Us ...
on my PS3 in HD! IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!! Even though i had seen the game play over a dozen times I still found myself jumping and almost shielding my face from Joel's brutal and visceral behaviors. Total cringe worthy gameplay and amazing smart AI. I've never seen anything that good since Uncharted 2! I can not wait to own this game! 2013 seems like a good while and i have a feeling this game is gonna be launched in the Fall of 2013!

Not being able to move while shooting is just silly for people like leon and chris who've faced these outbreaks for soo many years! People complaining about this needs to play the game before carrying on so melodramatically about the changes to the series tired gameplay mechanics
considering ND just released Uncharted 3 November Last year and Sony Bend just shipped Uncharted:GA in feb this year! It'll be something of really amazing and frightening to take drake on a new adventure with AI routines like that of The Last of US! I Cant wait for the Last of Us!!!
Yep and we'll still get very comparable results considering that console engines and hardware are streamlined for closed systems and DONT have resource draining memory foot prints like Windows and background data to run other programs!
If anything, developers have shown that, with money, time and talent even the aged PS3 and Xbox 360 can still put out games, which look comparable to these SUPER glossy, stretched resolution, games with 4gb of mem and DX11 features.

This is clear when people complained that Uncharted 3 was more of the same as Uncharted 2, and the reaction to God of War:Ascension has been met with the same Meh! I've seen this 4 games ago! Honestly, some gamers are an interesting bunch! A dev makes something cool and they judge and rip it to shreds on a 2 minute video!
