I can afford both but Xbox isn't deserving of my support, I did not buy a next gen console to play old updated games a mid range p.c does that better and has been doing it for decades.

The Playstation brand took a step back at the beginning of the ps3 but instead of consolidating the industry, they double down on quality and if you didn't meet ps stanard of quality then you was no longer apart of the ps brand.
After those first two years of the ps3 the wheels never stopped spinning and we (the consumers) appreciate you.
And by far my favorite ff theme is challenge from ffx.
I didn't mind the combat it was the on rails feeling.i think (while not the best) ff9 was the most complete of franchise, it had so much to do and so much to discover.

I stop buying Xbox after connect and the abysmal defect rate of the 360 Era, their is almost nothing to play on the thing but bargin bin games that the fanbase hype to no end.
I've always owned a Nintendo and Playstation every gen, I brought a LG c1 and a Samsung q80t just for next generation so it's not like I can't afford it but the real question is for what.

For all Nintendo lack of graphical power them Boyz &gals over at Nintendo still know how to make and sell good hardware and software.im proud of them, Sony wouldn't (I repeat) would not be the power house in gaming if it wasn't for Nintendo periods.
Sony learned all their tricks including talent acquisition to game design.
You make a fair point but hard-core gamers has always been the life blood of gaming (call of duty wouldn't be as big as it is without core gamers word of mouth, or gta for that matter)
