The controls feel much better than Resident Evil 4 to me, and Resident Evil 4 won all kinds of awards when it launched on the Gamecube.
The graphics are reminiscent of Batman: Arkham Asylum, (Unreal Engine 3) and that's a plus in my book.

You've obviously never tried to find a match in Gears 2, brah. The matchmaking might be slightly better now because of patches, (I wouldn't know, I haven't played in months) but it was horrific on launch.
Like I said before, I'm a fanboy of good games, not companies or consoles.
I've played Gears 2's multiplayer, and it sucked. That is, when I could actually find a match. (IN MY OPINION)
I much prefer Uncharted 2's multiplayer.

No, I'm not going to say that Gears 2 is good. The multiplayer was horrible. It took forever to find matches. Uncharted 2's multiplayer never gave me problems. I don't pick "sides," I pick games that I enjoy.

I'm quite enjoying the beta so far. Bunny hopping was one of the worst things about U2's multiplayer.
Steelbooks and special packaging are my weaknesses...
2v2v2 is AWESOME with a friend, especially if both of you have mics.

The only thing that moved most of the time was the character's torso. Being able to move forward doesn't mean that the game isn't on-rails.

If people enjoy playing the games and continue to purchase them, I see no reason why any franchise should be cancelled.
A reboot for any franchise could be either beneficial or highly destructive for the ip.
