No, it's just that good.
I'd give it a 10.
Ditto. If it's anything like GTA IV, count me out.
I'll stick to Saints Row 3 in the meantime.
"I used to really like the Battlefield: Bad Company single-player campaigns because they were charming and featured characters I got invested in thanks to some snappy writing."
I stopped reading there. This is not what Battlefield is about. I hated the Bad Company campaigns.
No hits from me, Jimmy boy.
I'm thoroughly enjoying my new copy of Battlefield 3 as I type this.
@Washington-Capitals
Seeing that memo makes me worry even LESS about the scores BF3 will receive.
I'd rather a longtime fan of the series review BF3 as opposed to someone who only knows what an FPS is because of CoD.
Not to me it doesn't.
Battlefield 3's trailer was more impressive from a film student's point of view. There was way more going on and the game mixed very well with the realism shots.
What did we see in the Skyrim trailer? A real-life Dovahkiin (which was actually pretty cool), a ho-hum medieval village, and a CGI dragon. Eragon had all of that, sans Dovahkiin, and that movie sucked the big one.
Regardless, I'm picking both ga...
HAR HAR HAR
lol
On topic: I really hope so, it'd be nice for both versions to be equal in quality. Everybody wins.
There's currently a glitch that allows for a magic glitch, PVP'ers are mostly using it to grief.
This isn't to make the game easier, it's to remove broken parts.
Ring of Fog is indeed the "lol-u-can't-lock-on- to-me" ring.
They just need to get rid of it. Lock, stock, and barrel. I love owning the unsuspecting noobs that think just because I can't lock on they've won. My lightning zweihander +5 thinks otherwise.
I'm honestly going to wait until Revelations hits Brotherhood's price range, it dropped pretty fast after the holidays. Brotherhood felt like a REALLY good expansion pack, and I'm assuming Revelations will feel the same way.
Agreed on the combat.
I play Dark Souls for a challenge. I play the Elder Scrolls games for the engrossing world and its lore.
I agree with the review. Try actually reading it before shooting off your mouth.
I'd personally give it a 6/10, though. Not impressed with this title at ALL, and I was waiting for it ever since it was announced. Big disappointment.
@xPhearR3dx
You wish, guy. The textures in Rage are child's play when compared to Uncharted 3's.
@starchild
Stop defending Rage so hard, it really doesn't look THAT great. Killzone 3 had better textures for crying out loud.
Go near something within 1 foot of your character and get ready to see some popcorn pop. Rage only looks good at a distance.
Sadly, I have to agree.
@Elwenil
Wow, way to mock the excitement of others.
Liking dinosaurs + guns = immature? How old are you? Last time I checked, both of those things were enjoyed by the male audience, myself included.
@BeOneWithTheGun
Too right! That is literally the only thing I found to be cheap in Dark Souls! Those two dogs were just a tad overkill. lol
@admiralvic
Oh, please, guy. You make the Souls games sound as if they're friggin' MMOs, which they are not.
If you can play an Elder Scrolls title, you can play Demon's Souls / Dark Souls. Just don't play stupidly. There's a difference between a casual player and a stupid player.
I've actually gotten a couple of my "casual" friends to give Demon's Souls a run. They never knocked the game for being too h...
"PS3 and 360 are NOTHING!!!"
Oh, how wrong thou art. The 360 alone probably generates more sales than the PC.
Perhaps one day DICE will grant our wish.
