Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory? That cracked me up. I'm going to have to Google that after I read the story. Though I might not want to...I might be the reason the theory was thought up. O.o
PC's really are giving consoles a good run for their money this year. While consoles are giving us new chapters of the same game that are pretty much the same exact game you played before but with different scenery, you have games like Guild Wars 2 coming in August that have completely revamped and upgraded their entire game to make it far better than the original. But this is a good thing. It feels like the big 3 of the game consoles aren't really competing for our attention anymore....
Ahhh, an article after my own heart. Too bad it is NSAW. (Not safe Around Wife).
My friend on Facebook just put up a picture of the Jason mask from the Friday the 13th Nintendo game. I know it was years since they put it out, but I personally think it might make a good movi...oh. Nevermind. lol
That was a very well written article! I've played the game and it was pretty fun. The only thing that I didn't like about it was there was only like 5 areas to the game, and 4 difficulties to switch around while you play it. I expected more for a big ticket game that was promoted the way it was. It would have been completely worth it if it were a $40.00 game, but paying $60.00 for it only to be able to rip through all the difficulties in a few days is a little excessive. Add to that y...
Thanks Emilio, your words mean a lot to me. When we first found out he was autistic it was hell on us. There was nothing there to help us figure out how to handle what we were going through, much less how to help him get through life with his condition. We had to bump our head and scrape our knees the entire way. Now things are doing pretty good and we know how to help him. But we had to do a lot of research and basically throw our personal lives into the hands of specialists that were themse...
For those that are interested, there is a really good article about it here: http://www.geekwire.com/201...
I grew up with Thundercats and it's good to see they are still around for the new generation. I have such fond memories, especially my friends and I pretending we were the Thundercats. I would play Lion-o and I would lift a stick to my face and say "Give me sight...beyond sight!" And then my fat friend who always played Mumm-ra would walk up, say "no!" and punch me in the eye. Good times, I tell ya, really good times. :)
I just wrote something up for City of Steam that uses the Unity engine and it is pretty amazing. Definitely comparable to Havok which has been one of the biggest names in the industry. It's nice to see Unity getting the attention it deserves.
I am seriously having virtual blue balls awaiting this game! I've read a little about it from their main site and was drooling and after reading the preview. I want to beat my head against a wall until I become so dazed that coherency doesn't return until Borderlands 2 is out. But I know if I do that my wife will finally be able to escape and I can't have that so I'm just going to have to suffer.
Accidentally hit the submit button there Synex? ;)
I'm giving you an approval on this because I find the subject matter very interesting. But a semi-vague, one sentence write up isn't gong to do much to catch the readers eye. You would do well to offer your reading public a little more description on what your topic is to hook them with the story. I knew what you meant and jumped on it for a good read, but if I hadn't, I might just have easily skipped over it and read up on the speculated color of Mario's underwear. The latter...
I've noticed that, in the main, the only female lead character options you have are the big attitude Lara Croft types or the nearly naked types. The gaming industry doesn't seem to want to break too far away from those models. Perhaps this is because there are far more guys in the game industry than girls, and they can't seem to grasp the depth of just what a woman can really do. It's as if the true nature of a woman is impossible to put into digital media. In the time I take ...
Hey Ted, I totally going to go waste Zeus! EXCELLENT!
;)
It's a hard choice for me. Each one of these guys is a great actor and would bring something good to the character. So I chose by face alone. :)
That's my second choice. ^^
I'm hoping for Jason Momoa..he has the angry Kratos face down perfect!
It's steampunk in a way. You have your magic users and big, armored warriors. In a way it is sort of like how Guild Wars has the Asura who build robots, but they aren't necessarily what the game is about. What I DO like about the steampunk they have is they bring realism into things that didn't really make sense in other MMORPGs. For example, you have your storage chest. You put something into it in one area and you can pull it out in another area. How does it get there? This game...
You played the beta? Can I borrow your time machine so I can see what it is like?!?!?! They haven't gotten to the beta stage, my friend. You played the alpha. lol!
I didn't back when everything was 16 and 32 bit. lol! Actually it's kind of my wife's fault I drool over pixels. She does 3D modeling for video games and I've been programmed to find them either hot or not. To put it a better way, I drool over CGI girls, but I drool ON my wife. ^^
