There is a clause that states that "all upcoming games have to match launch ps4s in terms of framerate/resolution."
No one is taking advantage of the hardware.
If you aren't getting VR you don't need this because it is only for VR

We aren't getting 4k gaming, this isn't a new ps console.
That is the only reason why it is out.
They aren't making new consoles.
It is only because the VR headsets (Oculus PSVR) run like balls on the current consoles.
THESE CONSOLES ARE ONLY TO DISPLAY VR GAMES IN 4K HENCE THE TERM PS4K and ALL OF THE BAD MATRIX JOKES E.G. MORPHEUS NEEDS NEO BLAH BLAH CAPS!

The Neo is for VR only. There isn't a more powerful console coming for games, it is ONLY for VR.

1) play ps4 games at whatever resolution/Frame Rate as ps4
BUT!!!!!!
2) it will display the PSVR GAMES at 4K ONLY ON THE PSVR HEADSET.
Your tv gaming remains the same as PS4 and all older ps4s play the PSVR games in "just" 1080p.
