Um, what if you have friends that live in another state, or country? Yeah, you should go to their houses on a semi-weekly basis to play games with them.
I don't care how precise and responsive the controls are, or even how good the game is. The motion controls themselves are a liability. Honestly, how long can you stay comfortable using a motion controller? Would you be willing to do all-nighters constantly moving your arm or wrist every 3 seconds? And it's even worse if you play a shooter because you'd probably have to be moving your arm non-stop. I'm sorry, but if I can't even tolerate HOW I'm playing the game, the g...
Conviction was okay, but I just don't consider it a true SC game. Yes, it bears the name and uses the same character, but the gameplay mechanics were vastly different. I'd say that all of the previous games are superior to that one. But from a business standpoint, I understand why they made the change. If the "same game" kept being churned out that appealed to such a small consumer base (compared to, say, Halo or CoD), they might end up losing money. And that's something...
I don't support peripherals that hinder the gaming experience. And why should I only call myself a gamer upon your merits? I don't like the Wii, I don't like motion controls, and I prefer the 360 and PS3 over PC. I buy multiple games a year, I spend about 15 to 20 hours a week (when on break from college) playing games. I think I can consider myself a gamer and still not like where the industry may be headed.
I think this gives me evidence to think that the high scores given to Mario games the past decade don't hold much weight compared to others.
Let's hope it does.
This just seems like something you'd play once just to tell others that you've tried it and don't care for it.
Oh yeah, yeah I love being dramatic. Especially if it's over it.
Until we have a gaming "controller" that acts like the Matrix, I will never opt for an alternative to a standard controller. If motion becomes the standard, I'll switch to PC gaming or just give it up entirely.
I just pre-ordered the game a few days ago on Amazon to take advantage of that $20 gift card and, of course, because I enjoy the Fable games. I might use it to help me pay for my pre-order for Gears 3 or Assasin's Creed.
Do you think EPIC would just twiddle their thumbs for five months? They will get extra time to polish, tweak, and add things to the game. Maybe even go through rigorous online MP testing to minimize glitches and redeem themselves from the awful mess that Gears 2 was.
I like the SC series (well, the first one to Double Agent. Conviction was definitely a far cry from its roots.), but this is just a game for a handheld. Nothing special.
SpaceSquirrel is Shui Ta. He only submits his own articles.
Look at those hardcore games.
They're hardcore because motion sucks so much ass, the awful experience is going to anally fist you. That IS hardcore. Now I understand why so many bitches like this shit.
Acting like a hoe is completely off topic. Bubbles-
And just because the sane people think motion is a piece of shit, doesn't mean you have try and defend it behind your little quip. Have fun sticking it up your ass when you're crying that it sucks.

In the ovaries?
Hmm, all that you pointed out fits the description of a regular controller. I guess there's no need for motion.
Um........ Red Dead Redemption
