Sorry but a PS2 price cut will do nothing. I see most of you are under the assumption that no casuals bought the PS2 already. Which is just complete BS. The majority of owners were casual. Now they have moved on to the Wii. A price cut will do nothing, They've already got a PS2. They've already played the games. They bought 6 million copies of Rugrats for PS2 along with Postman Pat, Power Rangers, Hello Kitty, and so on.

Great video BrotherNick. he'll never watch it though because it proves him wrong. I have to say I didnt notice how bland the PS2 game was until I saw it beside the Wii version.. I guess I was kinda wrong. Wii version is FAR superior to the PS2 version.. Okami is so blurry on PS2 you cant even make out any detail but on the Wii its crystal clear.
Also Nick you and I are probably the only people posting here that are commenting from experience. Rikatatsu just seems to judge ever...
Having actually played both the Wii version is far superior to the PS2. Motion controls worked great, and drawing withthe Wii remote took the game and made it that much better. Stoping to take time to draw with the analog stick really slowed the pace of the game down considerably. However with the Wii remote its just a quick draw and back to the game. Really helps out with the immersion of the game not having stop and draw for such long periods.

All the highest rated games of all time are in SD.. Funny because if HD was so much better how come the games cant back it up? Two highest rated games this gen on are the Wii also.... Seems you overestimate HD graphics. The only thing they've dont this gen is cause massive delays on titles. other than that they have added nothing. Even with HD graphics GT4 could touch SMG or Ocarina of times review scores.

Lots of kids today try to act like they know what the seal was for. They obviously never played the Nes to know what kind of games actually made it out with the seal... Just wait til next gen if Sony is in first with tons of shovelware he will talk about how great it is to have those games.

Maybe we want AAA quality games of the same caliber other platforms get. Maybe because we were told by Capcom if we bought all their ports, the AAA support would come.
I think you are expecting too much from an extremely niche title that is in black and white. Hardly going to do the same numbers as mainstream/established franchises.
Dead rising was a next gen game ported to an engine made to run on PS2, not the much more powerful Wii. Did anyone really think an engine made to run on 233mhz was going to do a game justice that was made to use at least 1ghz?
Sorry but if you're pulling dead rising up as an example of anything you really have no proof. Its not the Wiis fault they used a PS2 engine and even on the PS3 a PS2 engine game will look like crap.
Funny how not one HD game made this gen can shine like SMG did. Highest rated game so far still this gen. Followed by what? Oh another SD game by the name of Zelda.. Hmmm yeah dude games really need High end graphics to really shine. That's why games like Wow on the PC have more players than Crisis? How MKWii outsold any game on an HD console and how SMG got higher reviews than all of them...

If you cant point straight it is hardly the Wiis fault. It wasnt really mean for those with physical handicaps. Anyone who cant do that must be, because my 4 year old nephew has already mastered the art of point and click. Grats Nintendo on your 50% market share. Kinda odd a few days after they announce Wii hitting 50million that they also announce the 100m of this gen. Never thought I'd see the day when Nintendo held a majority market share again.
