Madworld is niche and Deca Sports is now a game that deserves success? People got fooled into the first and passed on the second one.I cant really find any faults in people who pass on Deca Sports2.
As for Madworld, it bombing on Wii means as much as Okami bombing on PS2 did.
I wonder where that guy was when Killer 7 and Okami crashed on PS2? How did it affect the PS2 and its owners? Nothing changed.
Find one core game that isnt selling on Wii and should be and I'll believe this BS but pulling up a game like Madworld as if it has mainstream appeal is just ludicrous and proves the writer has very little comprehension of gaming as a whole.
NMH, Madworld, Killer 7, Okami, those are all great titles but they do not have mainstream appeal. So...

Funny how the last light gun game flopped hard on PS3, and nothing like Madworld is on other consoles to compare it to, oh but people just know they'd move on HD consoles.

To the people saying it would have sold better on PS3 or 360. Please name off examples. To qualify titles must be 6 hours long and completely black and white.
titles that would qualify for comparison even in color would be games along the lines of Killer7, Okami, NMH. Niche titles that only appeal to a very small market.

Please show me all these other black and white 5 hour games like Madworld that are selling millions on PS3 or 360. I mean the biggest PS3 game of the year couldnt manage 1 million in sales in two months. DS IS the better gaming platform. Compared to PSP or PS3. SO many RPGs, FPS, Action, and all the new innovative titles that having a revolutionary control scheme can bring.

PSP has done nothing really. Just look at the list of greatest games for PSP. Same games can be found on PS2 and PS1. Cant say the same thing for DS though. The only thing Sony did was make a portable PS2. Nintendo actually took portable gaming to a new level.
Games like China Town Wars just are not possible on the gimped PSP. Guitar Hero was a great fit for the DS, Rock Band had to be completely redone and is a shadow of its former self for PSP.

Sure the industry hates the Wii and rates every game based off of what the PS3 and 360 do. Most people just dont care. That's why they constantly buy more Wii games than any other console. Sure Re5 and other games get high sells at first, but where is SF4 in the charts? Completely gone, yet Wii 3rd party games stay in the charts for months at a time. ...

That would be the PS3. Lack of games period really. Unless you want last gen rehashes with a new name and lets be honest. Sony only has one game that sold over 5 million. The rest barely break 1 million with free give away and bundling.
Kinda obvious from the extremely poor software sales that it lacks anything the public wants. Sure you can bring up reviews but SOny is given great reviews for their mediocre games on a daily basis. Doesnt make them great at all.

Pretty happy with my Wii but then again I dont act like this is the first gen of gaming like most do in order to justify their hate for Wii. Shovel ware plagued the PS2, only fanboys will say it was ok for one company to do something that another cannot. So no I cant blame Nintendo for something Sony clearly started.

Doesnt matter how much it sold Casual games STILL SOLD MORE. End of story. So PS3 must also be a casual console. Killzone 2 was hyped beyond belief as THE game that would take Sony to first.
