and yet....people are happy about apple's price cut while they are not happy about PS3 price cut? I guess it's all about Sony haters here...
(btw to me i think iphone is not just a piss off product to consumer...it is a rip off product without true functionality at that price point and the battery doesn't last at all with its best function of web browsing...PS 3 is a different story)

I say it becuz i've played serveral games with embedded 6axises in PS 3 and a lot of game with Wii....
Wii restricted most of the game in a way that it can only be controlled thru motion sensing...while PS 3 , you can enjoy a variety of control in the same game(in uncharted you throw grenade or balance on a wood...while in R&C you fly and get away from obstacles..)
What i am trying to say is....while this motion sensing was obviously a trend last year being p...
i've got a japan console but when i played the demo i don't notice it=/
maybe its only with the full game

edit: i am wondering how many people does watch news about blu ray vs HD DVD are pissed about paramount's decision....they prolong the meaningless war and many people are still waiting for a final format to purchase their first HDTV and HD movie player..
who doesn't know BR is outselling HD DVD every single day and...

if 1 day a news come up and it says either
HD DVD outsells BR in quantity by more than 1%(hmm i say more than 1% becuz thats what happened to last week xbox360's sales in japan and people were like..OMG, xbox360 is going to dominate in Japan...aww...fools)
or HD DVD says give up...until then these news are pointless

you've made the assumption that PS3 are not used as BR player but it doesn't hold truth...its plain assumption
obviously the uses of PS3 are divided as blu ray, gaming console, and both atm, and no one on earth can actually tell what exactly the % is...
so we might as well stop argue about this pointless topic...only time can tell...(and btw can HD DVD really survives until its attachment rate overcome the much larger installbase of blu ray players? i doubt it)

although PS3 is not selling very great at any perspective (about 6m for its 1 year old birthday), it for sure outsells HD DVD players by 5 times for almost every month of the year (except that crazy 99.99 day)
so yea...except HD DVD does have a solid way higher attach rate in here, it can't catch up with much less players sold
it is pretty obvious from the sales figures of PS3 and Xbox360... they need a price cut, i do have some japanese friends and all of them want PS3, for whatever reason including its their homeland product or they've been playing it for 10+ years or they just think most japanese devs are only gonna release their best shots on PS3
aww man it takes 24weeks+ for xbox360 to sell that many in japan
edit: LOL@ disagree, i thought i was pretty nice here coz i put 24 weeks instead of 36 weeks, 24 weeks that is about 2800units/week which most of the months of the past 24MONTHS xbox 360 didn't make it in japan
