Can they not change their position every single time some short term news/trend comes out?
I don't mean to blame them for defending xbox360 then Wii then now PS3...but well they are professional, i don't think any market analyst should change their opinion like 3 times a year...

and i guess the 3% for both wii and playstation 3 is a damage control make up...hell, i don't even think PS3 and wii get 1% in failure rate.

You buy a ticket and you have the right to watch the displays in the museum for that specific time printed on your ticket...
I don't recall i could copy or pirate or making one of those exact copies of ART in any museum i've been to....and yes movie is a form of art that requires creativity as well....

the point is, with 3times more xbox360 (working or non-working)flowing around in the US than PS3, there is almost NO WAY a game sells more on PS3 than xbox360...it is just logic..if PS3 has to sell more of GTA than xbox360 in the US well...we should see PS3 sales start pumping already as well

Most of the games for PS3 downloadable on PSN is available up to 5consoles...so if you have a friend got a game, use his username and password, download it online...here you go, you get the game on your PS3 too. It also solves any potential problem relates to hardware key code.

I personally think it is not the format defeat they can't take but it is the reputation damage they can't take. The longer they tried to sell their now pos HD DVD players, the worse image they are going to have in the next 5 years...and trust me, it takes A LOT OF time...to build reputation.
The best thing they can do atm is actually admitting defeat and maybe start accepting HD DVD players for say 50bucks or whatever discount for their other products...this way they still have...
but you do have to learn a bit about how to operate linux...it is not hard but it takes time
after i install it i got a backup PC, music and movie player and a much better browser with me ...well i say it worths....

I think the problem of PS3 to dominate is still US customer loyalty to xbox 360, they simply believe xbox360 gets the better version of games no matter what
and i don't think any cross platform will have significant different....because they are cross platform, they aren't different game, these days those game sites just try to put more flame and get more clicks from users..
so the turning point is, when games can no longer be cross...
i bet it will hit 1000degree =)
