for 100 pounds you have to risk, let's say, 15% chance to have your xbox360 getting fixed for more than a month, or 1% chance you have to fix your machine+ built-in wifi+ blu ray player+ brand loyalty...

HOME can come with a firmware but it doesn't necessary have to be included in the firmware, it is purely optional, those who don't like fancy stuff can save some space on their HDD
and since beta testers are already running home on their PS3, i am guessing HOME will be made available as a seperate download instead of necessary download with the firmware
and i would like to add that preordering a game give the publisher better estimation over the demand of the game...so it saves our time and their time at the same time

no offense, but you expect a fairly new electronic/gaming machine get to the price point of 200 and yet still provide all your need for 10 years at its second year?
you gotta be kidding me, anything that lasts is going to be expensive at first, and the price slowly drops...same for PS3, and i would say 400 bucks for something that lasts 8 years is at really good value..

the PSN games are great, motion sensing is not a must-use for most games...

since game developers aren't unleashing all power of CELL+RSX yet is it possible the movie decoder aren't doing so yet either?

Halo is a killer app, i don't like it, gameplay might not be best, but it is, thanks to the hype generated...
they could've saved the ad, end up having more revenue and less console sold...but from what has already happened, it is, and there is not doubt about it

and i don't think they can even put it on their ad, since PS3 is getting some other DLC too in 2009..so maybe they can do like what, i dunno tweak the word and somehow still say they get LIMITED exclusive content? (ok again NOT free of charge...)
