Because there is nothing else to play, simple. As somebody who played over 130 hours of MGSV simply because of hope for greater story development and complete lack of anything else to be playing I am absolutely justified in saying this. Absolutely hated this goddamn game, it ruined my belief in good.

Why not ? Borderlands almost felt like something dark back when it started, and then it divolved into bullshit by the second game completely.

Does not matter. Borderlands is just a self-concious grind-fest that doesn't take itself seriously... I had enough games like these to serve a lifetime, would much more enjoy something dark, gritty and ultimately tragic. These kinds of games actually leave a mark.
Looks okay, especially hell's design itself, also I enjoy some quality body-horror. Still I wonder - is there any point to those killings of poor souls around hell itself ? What kind of twisted degenerate would enjoy doing this ?
