I already played it on my PC I would rather a newer game anyway. The game drags on to much for my taste not enough filler stuff to keep you interested in the game. After a few weeks the game got pushed aside for other games. Still never beat it.
If Microsoft had games on HD DVD and said they needed it because of Halo having 22GB of content. You and all the other 360 fanboys would be all talking sh*t about how great this game would be and that even compressed it still takes OMG 22GBs the Pshitty3 can't handle this kinda gome blah blah blah. The white gloves are to keep smudges and finger prints off the damn thing. Unlike the crapbox the ps3 has a glossy like finish that shows smudges. If you are showing off a beautiful painting behind a glass case would you want people getting their finger prints and grease from their sweety little hands all over it? NO!

I'm getting this game but there are a few things that bothered me.
1. Why do Metal Gears sound like a heard of cattle?

no don't get me wrong I'm getting a PS3 it's just I expected they would Update these kinds of games by now. They show this beautiful background and you can't doing anything other then look at it from a distance. Why not open that up and let us fight on it?
Man this sucks. If I'm paying $600+ for a PS3 and then another $60 for a game I don't want to be confined to a small ring anymore unless it's boxing. I want to start in the ring then through someone out a glass window and follow after them outside and continue the fight. Bushido Blade for the PS1 was so cool because you could do that. Run away and battle in sweet areas or take it to a different part of the area. Why are we confined to rings? Why not start in the mountains and have to worry ab...
I sure as hell won't be getting one on the launch day. Look at all the 360's that had problems, and with sony's repair history I don't want to one of the thousands that have to send back a brand new $600 system then have to wait 3 weeks to get a refurbished console. I will be getting one but only after a few months to let everone else find the problems and get a new batch.
Sorry if people will pay $400 for an MP3 player why would $600 be any worce? The Ipod just play music the PS3 will play games, music, HDTV Movies, comes with a 60GB HD, Wireless controller, Backwards Play for old games, Online Connection, and more. Why would someone say the $600 is to much when they own a $400 mp3 player?

With your own way of looking at things that must mean that Halo, is fanboy-ism at its finest. just because it has a Halo title "doesn't"<<(Yo u forgot this word) means it has the potential to rock, hence creating hype and making people very interested in the game. there is nothing wrong with wanting to make sure the hype is worth it.

I'm sorry I just wish sony would release more info, if I'm saving $600+ for a system that is just a few months away I want more info on it. I want to know how the game are looking I want to see what online will look like when 40 players are playing Resistance. I want to see MGS4 Game Play NOT A VIDEO! I will get a PS3 if the can convince me that the system won't be just a hyped 3DO. Sony is right it is worth the money for all the fetures but I want to see them show me that the games are going...
japan doesn't care for the 360 PERIOD! The only way they would is if the Wii and PS3 was cancled and the 360 picked up all their games. That is the only way people in japan will convert over. They pretty much hate the 360 just because....
