Baton Rouge Louisiana, 2nd in line I got there at 8am and only two others where there waiting. They said that they spent the night thinking it would have been packed but only about 15 people showed up at Gamestop. I pre-ordered the 60GB version so I know I'll be getting one. I had traded in a ton of games and had $86 worth of credit so it saved me some money. I also reserved Motorstorm since I was there and it was only 5 dollors.
But to me it's pretty dam close, I must say for a launch title that is badaa$. I haven't seen anything that looks this sweet out yet. I'm not comparing this to GOW because it's not a TPS but this looks better then any other FPS that I've seen.
I knew this was all BS just to start stuff, there isn't anything the 360 can do that the PS3 won't be able to do. Sure as of right now there isn't a rumble in the controller but it could have it.
same here I had one after launch and it just recently broke. I had two though one for home and another for my truck. So no loss really my ps2 will go back to my truck and the shinny PS3 in my house hooked up to the nice new 42" DLP tv we just got.
We don't care about GOW, ME, LO, or Halo. We want really good games that draw you into the game. We have MGS4, DMC4, MoterStorm, White Knight Storys, AC, R:FOM, GTA4, GT, Heavenly Sword, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, L.A. Noire, Lair, Untold Legends, F.E.A.R., and many more coming out for the PS3. The games on the 360 that aren't on the PS3 will be on the PC in a few years if that.
Oh wait wait wait what has MS done better other then better graphics? Do the have a controller that has motion control? No!
Do they have it to where if the need for more space is required that the games can play on a HD-Dvd? No!
Do they give you the console with everything ready play the best it can? No! (Requiring a patch to upscale games to 1080p ring any bells?)

looks so much better then lost odyssey, that game went from kick ass to slow and boring in under a minute. The CGI was awesome then it went to utter crap. Look at White Knight it is all real time and you control the characters and attack just like the CGI was for lost odyssey. You actully get to fight the battles instead of selecting the attack then watching the console have all the fun, you get to do it yourself.
I can't wait to play this game, I don'y care what others say I see great things in the PS3's future and that's only in the first year. This machine is going to blow everything else away.
I is the perfect Zombie game, just like Dawn of the dead you are in a Mall with tons of toys to play with. Your mission is to kill zombies that would sell good on any system. If it was on the PS3 first it would have sold just as well even more because it would have sold in japan.
That's just if it would have been on the PS3 first.

Sounds like someone doesn't like hearing good things about a game he doesn't get to play on his 360. It's ok maybe one day you'll get a friend that has a PS3 and you can play the games. The guy at Gamestop told me they are going to be getting tons of them and that there is a very small chance of being a shortage. Nintendo is making them by the truck loads and he said you'll be able to walk in and get one.
