I better stop I could go on and on
They could easily be bullshitting us so it's a nice suprise when someone from the PS2 era does show up. I kind of doubt it though since nobody was in the game bar some DJ's.
It really is a great game, I pre-ordered it then read the reviews which gave me a negative attitude going into it. And I actually didn't find the first hour to be very good but once you get through the first 2 chapters the story picks up, the settings and combat scenario's are better and it totally turned me around, Yeah there is room for improvement to make it a 9-10/10 but I wouldn't argue with giving it an 8.
Yeah I think you're being a little intolerant here, Myself and plenty other people have been really enjoying these remasters.
For example I felt GTA V and TLOU came out too close to the end of the last consoles cycle, but now I have new and improved versions of them on next gen for the next 5 or so years, Same goes for Dark Souls 2 coming in April.
Also there's the Resident Evil and Grim Fandango that I hadn't played for years and really enjoyed going back to. <...
I'm with DarthZoolu in the haircut criticism. Most black characters always have a stereotypical hair style with one or two regular styles, I of course wasn't offended when playing GTA V but I did think they were a little narrow minded with the character customization, Michael could only have a middle aged white guy haircut, Trevor could only have a trailer trash haircut, and Franklin a black gangster haircut. I thought I'd found a normal one for him but then I checked the back and...
Naaaah I'd say they did brilliantly with the new mechanics in Resi 4, And Resi 5 had equally good mechanics but a poor story and that annoying woman that make life harder but it was still a good enough game. But you can't blame people for being upset with Resi 6 can you? I mean that was a total piece of shit.
For me..
1. Dark Souls
2. Skyrim
3. KOTOR
I'm still having problems with the first episode so this doesn't come as a big suprise.
Haha nice I like the sound of that, yeah that was something that frustrated me about Dead Island and Oblivion especially so glad they don't level up with you in Dying Light :)
Yeah a little bit, In Dark/Demon Souls I was always a bit of a sword and shield man. I most enjoyed the block-counter tactic. But no defense in Bloodborne puts me off a little.
Well yeah but hitting them on the head 14 times is extremely boring and not enjoyable, That's not encouraging news about dying light either, thanks for telling me though. I'll probably still get it anyway haha
Definitely, And this is the best way to experience it for the first time.
Dead Island was a great Idea but had some flaws that were too big to ignore, for example the amount of times you had to hit zombies in the head to kill them was ridiculous and made every encounter twice as long as it should've been. Any zombie film or tv show you're looking at 1 or 2 hits to the head max before their heads caved in. It was something that bugged me a lot.
I used to watch my brother play this when I was 4 or 5 years old so when I saw it on the dashboard I decided to download it and Wow!! It's such an awesome game. The only thing that bugged me was the lack of inventory space, it caused a lot of unnecessary back tracking. I'd have to give it a 9 or 9.5 out of 10 personally. And I'd love them to do a similar remake for Resi 2 and Nemesis too.
Can anyone tell me when this is out? I've ordered it on amazon but it doesn't have a date.
Well put, I was on the fence about buying it again as I didn't have as much love for it as DS1. But I think you've just persuaded me.
Maybe the town folk turning on Leon at the start of Resi 4 ( chainsaw guy included )
I never got this at the end. But I did do it on very easy to be fair ha, Still I was hoping for something a bit cooler.
I loved Dark Souls 1 so damn much, and thankfully it was my first Demon/Dark Souls games so it all felt new and challenging, by the time I played Demon Souls though I'd already mastered the combat and how to exploit the game so I didn't get the fullest experience of difficulty from that one. I think whichever Souls game you play first is your favourite.
I think that though I loved the 1st person Goldeneye, Nightfall, and Agent under fire. It was the 3rd person ones that I'd like to see next. Everything or Nothing, From Russia with love, and Bloodstone were brilliant, the two 3rd person original storys really felt like I was playing Bond in one of the films.
