I was unsold, entirely sceptic and cautious beyond belief about this game, I didn't like halo ODST when I had a 360, so I didn't think I would actually like a bungie game, and I've gotta say I'm having a blast with my friends on it for the simple fact that it's a great game which has some flaws, but more importantly has the ability to become something amazing, more so than it already is.
Bubble up, well said. CoD is probably going to get 9 or 10 this year. They are so revenue based they're only in it for clicks, and games which don't get hyped don't get clicks and aren't reviewed as drastically because no one really reads 7/10's, we want blood, glory, or both.
After ghosts you never know, but that could just be my wishful thinking lol
You're not alone, it's just the vocal minority who hates the game, 12/12 people I know playing it love the game, but it does have its faults, ones common in many aa games :P I'm hoping halo 5 is good, I've never experienced halo at all except ODST, which I didn't really enjoy. If halo 5 beta is good it'll be the reason for me to get an X1,hopefully with some kind of MCC + 5 bundle.
Funding the industry is creating a market with more developers, more games and happier gamers. That's why they should stop buying exclusivity, their money could be spent making something new and ambitious, instead of an albeit beautiful game, one where mashing buttons is the norm.
It's worth getting if you have friends playing it or are willing to find people, possibly a clan, within the community to play with.
It's definitely not for everyone, but I would say in my opinion it's a 9. There's a lot of room for it to grow for a new franchise, and the teamwork, whether it be PvP or PvE, is amazingly fun.
Honestly at that point I'm hoping for photorealism in consoles and PCs. It's so hard to speculate, they're probably already working on the next generation (R&D obviously is, but other assets would be improbable). It's only a matter of waiting for the uncanny valley to be bridged, my friend.
Try joining a faction, let's you achieve more with the variety you enjoy, and the armour abilities are more specific to certain play styles. I have the same problem as you, was at 24 for a week before finally getting rank two dead orbit today. We just have really bad luck, every one of my friends has found multiple legendary items within days of becoming level 20.
Did I read that correctly? A primary shotgun?! :'D
Last I heard they were outed by a supposed anonymous member, and turned out to be teenagers from southern Ontario, Canada. As a Canadian and a gamer it makes me angry that d**** like this would ruin the experience for others like that, I truly hope they're prosecuted.
Z Ultra ;)
It's like the next step after milking just one or two franchises that are different is to make, as you put it quite well, the "Same open world formula in a different coat", across multiple games. That being said I've never tried far cry, I might give this a shot but watchdogs and assassins creed were too similar.
Thanks for posting, bub up
Or even worse, essays pushing publishers products (for a fee). After seeing the destiny review I've completely lost faith in reviews, it was childish of them to get so angry over no review copy lol
The did -_- it's a huge waste of time for the reader, even if it quintuples their revenue
*buys collectors edition, plays game, shits trousers, goes to EB games* "hi uh... I would like to return this, I found the game too terrifying to finish but all original contents are inside, and then some."
Agreed, will definitely be waiting for this one. The beta was fun and all but I found it too much like BF4 and had similar problems to that launch, even though they were on a smaller scale. Review scores will be high, but that's only because of money.
That's why I'm choosing this over evolve. Single player story interests me, split screen is always welcome, freedom of movement both as human and monster, and diverse modes in a huge open world. Yes.
I actually wish they had it on PS4, I have no idea what they were thinking -_- it's a very good deal, especially for sports gamers or EA fans
