I'm pretty interested in the CARS beta, think I'll try the ps plus version of this and the beta to make up my mind.
They seem to think that a game widely praised (except by the vocal minority of controversy hungry reviewers and people on the Internet) was a troubled launch when it was the best selling new IP yet... Makes sense./S

Exactly, what's so hard to understand about that for some people? 500 000 000 ÷ 3 rounds to about 170 million per instalment, including advertising. That budget might even rise with how sales have gone so far. I'm not sure if people are just thick skulled sometimes or just want to create controversy. Either way they're succeeded with the latter, although it's undeserved.
They're not adding FPS mode to old Gen versions too?
All my strictly (and I mean nothing but, 24/7) CoD playing friends bought xbox ones for the earlier DLC, could be a factor in this. I passed on ghosts but it doesn't look bad this year. If I get am Xone I'll probably get CoD on it.
I would pre order games I'm confident about if they gave us say 10 or 15 dollars off, but that's not happening.

I was shocked when I disassembled a legendary to get a shard and got nothing :/ when the materials stated it had one. Now I threw away a legendary chest piece to upgrade my legendary chest piece, and got nothing.
But what if the deadline were unreasonable and you needed more time? There's a thin line between delaying something (game or otherwise) for the fact that it will not be finished regardless of work ethic and not using the time given effectively, but it is a line EA should easily be able to recognize, especially after BF4. If they can't, they're not doing their jobs properly.
Cheaters in which sense? I'm simply curious as to who you believe it cheating, I agree with PvP bans but the farming honestly is just a waste of time, it's far less efficient than just levelling up a rank of some sort and buying gear, the random drops should be a bonus.

Unlike the traditional sports game EA UFC has a 2 year cycle, something the developer team was adamant about, and it's actually an excellently put together game. They really represented the sport well, both in spirit and form.
Other sports games should take a page out of that book. Unfortunately for me my main sport doesn't yet have a AA or AA game yet, I play lacrosse.
They should do a 2+ year development cycle, supporting the game years after maybe adding a draft feature. Adding features every cycle, along with upgraded graphics and such. But they're just going to keep ripping people off, that's why I'm with you brother, stayed clear of sports games for years now.

He forgot how crouching only puts you on your enemies radar every 5 seconds. Or how boosting with a wall between you and your enemie when they could be one or two levels above you gives you a read on their height based on when the red is more vibrant while simultaneously being disorienting to them.

He has a valid point, reviews are often payed for. However, it's a fact in the industry that most big publishers do the same, so that being said it's hard to distinguish between what was payed for and what is truth without trying the games for yourself. It's not just Microsoft doing this. All the games mentioned above that are yet to come out do look excellent, but people, remember to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.
