Co-op was the tipping reason I purchased Farcry 4. After seeing the underwhelming footage for Primal and pairing it with this news, I'm pretty skeptical about this now. That sucks. It sounded like an awesome idea.
It would be good to pay $5 for a PS3 game and own it and be able to play it forever on the PS4 without frame-rate dips instead of paying the same amount to stream it for a week. Of course, that would serve me better! It's naive to think otherwise.
40%. So that's why Sony won't implement a backwards compatibility feature. They rather we purchase remasters or stream the game for a week for the same cost of purchasing an old copy of it and playing it on the hardware. Got it.
So Sony can acknowledge that 40% of PS4 owners never owned a PS3 but they still won't look into implementing the feature (for free). They rather we pay to stream the games over the network for a limited amount of time. #ForThePlayers
We knew a year ago when the details of the Activision/Bungie deal leaked that more content was going to be released in the fall of the opposite years of main game releases. When they announced that the $35 season pass only included two expansions that were to be released before the next fall, it indicated that dropping $95 on everything announced was still not going to get you all of the content for the game. That's when I decided to wait for a game of the year edition. Everything I'v...
Forgot this was still a thing. Long forgotten.
That makes sense. If you're the type of gamer to purchase an Xbone, then you're probably the type of player to still be playing CoD. :D
Well, they've already rewritten some of the Halo mythos to fit into the new story arcs that followed Bungie's original trilogy. At this point, who cares...
I'll pass.
hahaha. For the record, I have a PS4 and I love it. Play on it all the time. I just call it like I see it. They either don't have enough stuff to justify the booth (which I doubt) or they're too cheap.
Ya either got it or don't. Right now, Sony don't. Hahaha. This is how you get down-votes. Hahaha.
Not so much a Fallout 4 reference as it is just a Fallout reference. Cool, though.
Not a loss of a bubble!!!
Hahaha. I guess my humor is too dry for some.
Not abandoned, just not supported.
But if they never had a PS3 (like myself), then they would not know the first 2/3 of the story for that trilogy. Is that important? Or is the game just good enough to forego that?
I've never personally played any of the God of Wars (because I foolishly never purchased a PS3) but they've always looked fun. That being said, $40 for only the third game in a trilogy isn't really for me. I unfortunately wouldn't know the story that led up to that point. I would've gladly purchased the trilogy for $60. Heck, even as much as I dogged on the MCC for XB1, at least it included everything you needed to have to be caught up on the chief's story.
I've heard these games are great. But charging $40 for a remastered version of the third in the series is not a super great idea. I never played them because I never got a PS3 (which I regret). It's unfortunate that they aren't remastering the trilogy. As much as I dogged on the Master Chief Collection, at least that included all the games to catch someone up to speed.
Don't say thanks until you purchase them.
This article is a waste of time. That's like complaining about the first wave of any new hardware. It's always expensive and overtime, production costs are cut down considerably. That's like saying that DVD players weren't for the average cinephile because they cost so much upon their initial release.
Just calm down and be happy that this technology is finally happening and understand in just a few short years, the price will be reasonable for everyone. HOLLA!...
