. changed mind
Its exciting to think about the future of rpg's with new consoles on the horizon. I can't imagine what they would do with a next generation elder scrolls.
Its a good time to be a gamer
Well said on both points!
Well I for one must say I am pleased with this game. Already around 5 to 6 hours in and I don't feel I even scratched the surface. Totally worth the money!
I was going to wait myself. Glad I didn't. I don't have as much playtime as I just picked it up but 3 to 4 hours into it I really haven't. Had problems. That said I am glad they are on this already.
Perhaps it will be patched before I get to any problem areas. Totally taking my time with this one! What a good experience
When we are talking game play elements it usually reads like someone's wishlist that is created from Older GTA games, elements from other Rockstar games and just plain old speculative fantasy.
I think it would be easy to write a list of 20 things we will see in the next trailer and get at least a couple of them right.
Rockstar giving a canned response to Nowgamer is news? I wonder what Nowgamer inquired about in the first place.
You are right feckles. I feel we're gonna be waiting a while to hear something as Rockstar gets back on the Max Payne train
What system? I picked it up for PS3 yesterday. The only problem I had was when I went to the menu to invert Y axis I double clicked it and backed out inadvertently and it stalled on "saving". Just as I started to think it was frozen I was back in business.
Other then that I got a little over an hour in and no other problems really. Now I know that's not a lot of time compared to some people but other then that my experience has been good.

Morganfell,
I've been noticing that more and more. CVG reads like Sony personally insulted their mother growing up.
Nice post.
They must need the hits with an article like this. Typical CVG
You remember correctly. It was to the tune of $50 million if memory serves correct.
San Andreas being released in June 2005 had no foreseeable impact on the 360s release which was November 22 of the same year.
The thing is our generation (360 and PS3) will still be getting games produced and released as the next gen develops an install base. Not every home immediately gets the newer systems. Some hold out for a better more lush game library and some simply wa...
Dave is correct.
No one game will ever delay the plans to release a console. Let's use microsoft as an example. The only outside source that may affect the release date would be the release and timing of the WiiU.
I say this because I am sure Microsoft are eyeing their competition and are planning on timing their release around a similar time to take the sales.
With the classic "though economic times" that consumers are facing a...
Exactly. The formula seems to be posting the most wanted features, mixing elements of gta iv and rdr to make it plausable and then speculate some.
Nothing really changes. Someone's mom or dad is an employee/qa tester/voice actor and they have the inside scoop. It just so happens they are 4chan or gtaf regulars. Fitting.
I have a feeling they are going to have a hard time finding buyers!
I never thought I would type this but that is the lamest heist I have ever heard of.
I'm here because I'm a sucker for interactive sliders. This could have contained pictures of corn cobs at various angles and I would have clicked.
Corn cobs.
Various angles.
Interactive sliders.
There is no logical way to play this game and honestly come up with 4/10 as a result. It's one thing to disagree with the glowing reviews but the 4/10 is just looking to stir the pot.
It's either trolling or a learning disability.
Would you care to elaborate on that? What exactly about it would be horrid? The player choice? The convenience of perhaps adding a scope on a weapon that doesn't normally have it? A suppressor allowing stealth kills which in turn provides an alternate way to approach a mission?
I'm starting to think you'd be hard pressed to explain why it would really be terrible.
I really love the end of console life for that very reason. It's great to see what boundaries can be pushed. To compare games that came out on launch with today's games and see how far they have come.
We'll no doubt get more ground breaking, limit pushing games as we enter 2012.
