I've been thoroughly enjoying it again on PS5 with the new patch. Still looks and plays like a dream. If only they would fix the subtitle issue - I turn them off and the next time I load the game they're back on. Only very minor niggle of course, but still
Sod the 4K Switch. Why set your sights so low? I'm waiting for the 8K Switch that is twice as powerful as the PS5 and XSX combined. It has 3 touchscreens!

I wasn't particularly a fan of Resi 7 either, I hated the Molded - they lacked so much imagination!
After having played the PS5 demo, I can't help but wish that Capcom would go back to the Resi of old. I want zombies, I don't want vampires! If I wanted Vampires I'd play Vampyr or Vampire: The Masquerade.

I'd love another colour for the DualSense. I do like the contrasting white and black, but man does it get dirty fast! Believe me, I am not a dirty person, but looking at the underside of my controller you wouldn't think so! the white on the handles has really discoloured and sort of gone an off-yellow colour. Not pretty.
The media remote is really good! In our house our consoles always sit in the living room, and are essentially our all around entertainment centre, so the media remote was a must. I really missed not having one on the PS4. I was hoping one would eventually be released, especially after the PS3 remote was so good, so was glad to see a return on the PS5.

I bought the Pulse headset and the media remote (I really missed it on PS4, especially after the PS3 remote was so good). I do intend to buy the wireless charging station, but right now it doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere. I'm not paying £50-£60 from a scalper when I can wait a while and get it for £25 when it becomes readily available. I'm not interested in the HD camera though.

Not exactly related, but I had issues with the controller randomly disconnecting on PS4. Couldn't tie it to a particular firmware as it genuinely did seem to happen at random. PS5 seems ok though. I don't own a Series X/S but hopefully they sort it.
Nothing wrong with using an easy mode.
I'm currently playing through God of War again on PS5 and I'm playing on easy. Why? Because I've already finished the game on a harder difficulty and I just want to experience the story again at a leisurely pace.
If a game has an easy mode then it's a legitimate option. No need for anyone to berate others for using it
I'm really enjoying playing this again on PS5. It still looks stunning but not having to compromise resolution for framerate just makes the whole experience feel even better.
Even the sound is still top notch. I'm playing using my Pulse headset and tbh it sounds that good it could have been designed with 3D audio in mind

I think the reason they went the dongle route was probably for cost and convenience.
With a dongle it makes them compatible with other systems too.
Not sure why you have audio issues using one of the back ports though. I use the back ones also and it is perfect. Is there anything near to your PS5 that could be interfering?
I thought the same at first. 3D audio is really nothing but marketing spiel. It's basically just Sony's proprietary surround sound.
That said, I do think the Pulse offers a nice l, clear sound, and it is definitely possible to hear a certain amount of directionality but it's just not the mind blowing 3D audio it was hyped to be.
For £90 though, they're pretty hard to fault. I also have a set of Steelseries Arctis 7s which I haven'...
Choice and cost. It's often cheaper to buy physical if you shop around. Also there's the resale element. When you've finished it you can sell it can't do that with digital.
That's why I mostly buy physical anyway
