I'm not interested in Series X at all. My main driver will be PS5 because I love Sony exclusives. They deliver generation after generation. Very good interview. It also makes it clear that there's no way it could work on PS4 without serious compromises. I love that the game uses in game assets for the cut scenes, and no pre rendered or CG.
Wherever you think of the game, there's no doubting that R&C is a fantastic technical achievement.
Watching an interview with the technical director at Insomniac on Digital Foundry it really does seem like it really wouldn't be possible on the PS4, not without seriously compromising the experience. I personally don't think it will ever see the light of day on PS4, and nor should it.
It's more than just the SSD, the PS5 has more and faster RAM, which means that it can render far more detailed words and stream data much quicker. On PS4 this just wouldn't be...

Yes PC also have SSDs but not every PC has one, and not all SSDs are created equal. My Dell XPS has a 1tb NVMe SSD and although it's faster than a mechanical HDD but it's nowhere near as fast as the PS5 SSD

What? I wasn't trying to be "cool" I was just stating that racing games are never mind blowing. FH is a series that's been with us for a few years now and apart from some shiny new graphics what exactly was "mind blowing" about it? It's the same FH formula they've used for years!
