Every 3 months I hit the vents with a air blower and vacum cleaner just to get the dust from around the fan areas and to keep the console well ventilated. Both consoles are used for movies, gaming YouTube, occasional browsing, listening to music and storing and looking at pictures. They are often left on for over 24 hours sometimes 48 hours since different ppl in my house play on them and never had one hiccup. I have two fat PS3's one medal gear solid 80 gig version and a launch 60 gig. They are 5 and 6 years old and I swear I leave them both on all the time. One is in the living room and the other is in my bed room. I have never gotten ylod. The fat PS3 is by far one of the most durable consoles I have seen.
Foreal because all those PS3 is doomed articles actually swayed some potential undecided buyers away from purchasing a PS3. People who have never gamed on a console before who looked to do a bit of research came across loads of PS3 hate and was force fed with microcrap BS.
God Of War ascension multiplayer beta is fun as hell! Wow that game takes skill you can't just button mash your way to victories. It has a rock paper scissors combat aspect to it along with blocking and parrying. Wow I think I will go play it some more right now lol.
Yawn I'm passing on this game will let the xbots gobble it up last multiplat on PS3 I'm getting is GTA V. Graphically Uncharted 2 and 3 still look better. God of war ascension, tlou, and phantasy star on the vita will take up most of my gaming time.

Its not about how you start its about how you finish the race. Yes the 360 came out first but look how much better and how much more quality exclusives the PS3 has over Xbox. PS3 also launched with HDMI, wifi, bluray, blutooth, wireless rechargeable controllers and was the more durable console.
I am from America and there is more to the orgin of gaming and big markets then this country. I am glad the PS3 is selling well in Europe and Asia, atleast they know what time it is when it comes to good quality regarding consoles.
Believe it I bought a vita over wii u and would do it again in a heart beat if the scenario replayed itself over again. I am pretty sure many other gamers who already own PS3's and 360's said the hell with the wii u I will just get a vita and get a PS4 or 720 when those drop.
what is cool about PS3 is you can also gameshare with your son. Like say yall have 2 PS3's and you buy games, content or whatever from the PS store. You can share all of that with your son meaning you wouldn't have to pay twice for anything.

Sounds good it may even help Sony a bit if they launch PS4 with free 3 month PS plus subscriptions. I am pretty sure the basic psn service will remain free.
PS3 was definitely worth the price tag though, it launched with a blu ray player, built in wifi, HDMI ports, wireless rechargeable battery free controllers. It took the 360 a few years to get some of those features on there console. I am not worried about PS4s price tag.
Killzone 2 still looks better then allot of new games today. PS4 is going to be one hell of a beastly machine. In Sony I trust.
Watch when the PS4 comes out history will repeat itself all over again. People will expect to see the consoles potential fully maxed out in less then a year and will post dumb articles if the games or features don't live up to there immediate expectations. I am looking forward to playing Phantasy Star online 2 on the vita and killzone, I am also looking forward to playing last of us on the PS3 and getting my hands on a PS4 once those drop.
Got my vita and it has given me countless hours of fun, uncharted golden abyss gets heavy playing time, PS all stars, ragnorak odyssey, little big planet vita, assassin's creed. I am also usually in a cross game cross party chat room with up to 8 friends while gaming listening to music looking at photos, taking pictures, downloading, watching YouTube videos, watching Netflix or whatever else. Oh I see so your multimedia apps experience hasn't been great as others. The Facebook on mines work great I actually use it more on the vita then I do on my phone. The Netflix runs flawless for me and looks amazing on the oled screen. I setup my email accounts on my vita as well. I also use Skype often to video chat with my bro who is overseas in the military. I never tried to text before we just video chat.
The vita experience is actually very unique compared to other handhelds and consoles. It is the ultimate multitasking device, it looks beautiful and runs very smooth. The rare touchpad and motion sensing from tilt functions is another unique experience on a handheld as well. Uncharted Abyss looks better then some of next gen console games, we have killzone coming and many more titles. This beast is just getting started not even being out a full year and will only get better.
I'm a gaming fanboy just call it like I see it. You have to pay a gold sub just to access your Netflix and hulu sub you already are paying for separately and race to defend a company that is ripping you off lol. I have wii u PC PS3 and 360 and it is hilarious to see how the 360 fans act when something with there paid service doesn't go right. They have the sweep it under the rug everything is fine mentality and can't wait to buy another gold sub card lol.
And if you dont have compressed air or a air blower use that free compressed air we all have in our lungs and give your console a nice blow job lol. Just make sure you are not spitting and its fine. I have blew threw a straw before to clean mines when I didn't have a air blower lol.
