I can see how trophies and achievements can take the fun away from games for some and make gaming seem like a choor but for others its really fun and competitive and they want to work hard to achieve every trophy especially the tough to get ones
I only got like 300 trophies lol, I mainly play online games and allot of them don't support trophies and every once in awhile I will dabble into campaigns.

The vita is a beast man I would definitely recommend it. The ignorance of Microsoft with there XBL and the silly fans is the reason why I hate that company. Major Nelson griped about blu ray not being needed and hated on it and the fans believed him. Exactly Sony is the only console manufacturer that I can feel confident about going out there on day one of the next gens console release and picking one up with no worries about hardware issues. My two fat PS3's lasted there whole generation with heavy rotation and play with no issues. We only been buying or renting blu ray movies as well. Haven't seen a standard DVD being watched in my house since the ps3 first came out.
While GTA is definitely the better game, I say cod wins on the sales because it releases every year and the sheep flock to buy the games no matter what and each year cod is breaking records selling millions. GTA doesn't release yearly and the hype is usually built up within a 5 to 8 year span.
