Yamauchi doesn't play much videogames. He's been clear about that for a while now.
He plays few for 20, 30 minutes with his co-workers just to see what's going on and kind of leaves them there.
Funny enough few of the best creators of videogames aren't really videogame enthusiasts.
You say ONE part of the game looks like Zelda, but you are wrong.
Spin slash, charge, way to hold shield for block, hook shot, even boomerang works very similarly to Zelda.
Which means the gameplay (which consists at least 90% of a videogame aside from story and visual) mechanic is almost an exact copy.
Sure it has the enormous sword upgrade system, but that's really only it so far from the videos that is surely original to this game.
Yes, the game is 3D ...
If you literally run'n'gun, i assure you that you will be dead right about

Too bad these guys aren't as enthusiastic about it as other sites.
@Band1t
you will know when you play the game ;)
It doesn't really matter whether you are the hardest of the hardcore gamers or wiimote swinging casual gamer.
The game is designed so that anyone who doesn't adapt to the way this game should be played won't be able go anywhere.
And anyone who does can actually beat it with patience.
It's not about being hardcore. It's about learning.
This editor realized that, albeit bit too late.
And that's a good thing.
Basically he is saying that he wasn't ready for the challenge and realized too late that he had been making a mistake.
He is right. You shouldn't mindlessly rush into enemies and expect to survive.
I'd even say it's honorable that he admit he couldn't finish and even saying that it wasn't game's fault but his.
Did you even try to read what you posted yourself?
Here's a quote from your link.
"But the PlayStation 3 version? The games are almost all (thankfully) region-free. Locking down that version would be an unusual move on Sega's part.
And even if it is region-free on the PS3, the fact that we've yet to see Bayonetta running on that platform at any event we've been to is a sign that, well, we should wait to see it running on that platform before dropping impor...
Demon's Souls is a perfect example of love it or hate it type of game.
Those who love it will defend it to death, but inevitably there will be people like that reviewer who just don't "click" with the game.
But I think even casual people should at least give it a rent.
It's hard but all you need is patience and smart thinking.
The game barely has any cutscenes, so don't expect it to be over dramatic like other RPGs (especialy JRPG.)
BUT that doesn't mean the story is non-existent here.
I don't want to spoil too much, but it's really all about subtlety.
Stories are told in bits through conversation with the characters and script is well written enough to give you hints of what happened without giving you away everything.
Also, if you have keen eye, you will feel there is ...
Seems many reviewers can't resist to go very deep in analyzing the game design of DS.
One of the best review I've read so far!
I really don't like the reviews that call DS a hack-n-slash.
If anything that's the best way to get yourself killed.
@callahan
公開 means it will be revealed.
so they will release the first batch of information on that date.
@x__JL__X
I can guarantee you that Dir is right.
The sites you jump to has a lot to do with the game and they are not just random.
You jump to sites with bryophytes because it is the most common monster in that game.
The game's most important aspect is the Food Chain system.
The wikipedia entry is not "brave" but "brave warrior (yusha)"
It is the enemy in this game, and also Yusha is in its original title (Yusha no kuse ni ...
It was missing bits of information.
Even if you die, the world tendency won't tip to black as long as you are in soul form. You need to revive yourself to body form each time you get killed to make the tendency black.
Funniest part is that her granade launcher is named "Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore"

But then again, most people don't even have an Eyetoy to begin with. Myself included.
Then that would be an Eyetoy + motion controller.
But hey, since Eyetoy already does most of what Natal does, I might just buy one soon.
Nice. Last Guardian wasn't the same trailer as the previous one.
Much more detail on the creature as well.
It's also kind of important to separate them from one another and try to fight at the center so you can dodge the charge easier.
Fire storm will make it almost too easy tho
