I love the fact that people think making new handhelds is a good idea now. I love portables and cell phone games suck. I was concerned they were dying with all the doom and gloom around 3ds/Vita vs mobile.
I wish someone would make an open world game where you ride a skateboard. Not a skateboarding game exactly, you just have a skateboard and can skate things if you feel like it. The plot of the game would have nothing to do with skateboarding other than your character being a skater.
But it is in competition with home consoles. It's a machine that plays games. Do you think if a person has no consoles and then buys a Switch that they will then buy a home console at the same time? No, they are going to choose one or the other which equals competition.
I think what the author wants is a game so next gen that there is no possible way to run it on anything other than the Scorpio. He wants Scorpio exclusives.
The reason there is such a "hat wagon" for Xbox is that they stopped making games. Now they just cycle their 3 big exclusives. That sucks. I have an Xbox, it pretty much collects dust.
I'll take Nintendo games over Gears Halo Forza any day. Sony does have them beat with software though.

No, I don't want a table tennis game I want normal games except where one or more of the characters happen to be table tennis players. I want a plot thread shoehorned in to the game about how much table tennis means to him.

I still feel like women only represent like 10% of the paying customers for AAA games. Sure, they may play Candy Crush, but there's no reason to overhaul the industry so that they can feel more included.

I love the system. I'll enjoy the good games when they come out and play my PS4 and PC when there's nothing. Not too concerned about it really. Also, it's not a gimmick, it's the best handheld ever made. Why can't you see that?
