All those statements he made about how free to play is the way to go and everyone should just deal with it put me off this game. I know it's not free to play now but I'm assuming it still feels like it.
I disagree. They've only released like 3 games I really like Zelda, Mario Kart and Disgaea. Everything else is middling at best.

If he wants to be weird he should start with scrapping the utterly average hack'N'slash gameplay. It's about the farthest thing from weird in video games I can think of.

I love my Vita. It has tons of fun games for it if you actually look through the available games for it.
Probably not. Giant complex open worlds are probably one of the more difficult types of games to shoehorn onto crappy hardware.
