Each his own but this game has been on my skip list for while this just adds it to the never buy list. Its funny that people wanted to burn the devs of Xenoverse for not adding more characters to the sequel but this comes along with even worse offerings. This is why I never ride a bandwagon I saw this and the new MVC neither look that good to me.
I honestly think Slant Six Games made better Socom games than Zipper towards the end. I enjoyed there psp titles along with Confrontation more than I did 4. Shame both studios are gone now.
I trust sony to pick the right devloper now that Zipper is gone but I want them to put some money behind it and give it a lengthy dev cycle I want next gen graphics that wow you and old fan favorite maps upscaled for mp, Socom 2- Confrontation controls and camera with lobbies and server menus none of that Socom 4 shit. Also I want a good single player experience like Socom 3 it had a campaign and random missions.

I agree with you completely. I got a number of digital titles because of my crazy work schedule and gamestop being to far then they start letting you preload games aswell. I'm going back to physical though I missed out on some nice cases this gen going to have to buy a few doubles :(

Speaking from personal experience it's mostly dismissed and in my case with it being older women I even got resent and jealousy for coming forward. I feel like this is a media and community problem. Look at Demon Souls and Valkyria chronicles both those games under preformed at launch hell both had next to zero ads, yet they both found cult followings and birthed series by word of mouth. I think a good game is going to sale as long as it doesn't stray to far into niche category.
