I was really excited for this game and ready to buy it until we got this telltale type episode structure. I love Telltale games, but I want a full experience Hitman on day 1, poor move in my opinion.
How can a system be dead in the water with a game like Gears of war 4 coming? Xbox isn't dead in the water imo.

I agree with everything you said but I'd like to add something. I personally feel that the Neo is being created to pump the graphics up for PS VR on top of everything you just said. Sony is taking PS VR extremely serious. 500,000 demos at retailers across America are starting in June. I believe Neo wouldn't even be happening if Morpheus wasn't releasing. Neo is all about boosting VR, just my opinion.

@Saigon You nailled it. There's no downside to it. You'll be playing the same exact games on both systems. I think because it's still in 'rumor' form, the internet is going crazy. E3 should set the bar straight, but Sony does have their work cut out for them in how to market this thing. My guess is, the benefits from having the Neo is related to Morpheus, and it's going to make you VR games perfom better graphically. Just my opinion.
Gamers can react however they want. Personally, I'm pummped, I embrace new technology, not get offended or pissed off by it. Example of how people are never happy. I wasn't aware that PS4 was in a "hang on to the lead" position? Out of the 28 months current gen has been out, Sony out sold its competitors 26/28 months. Really, who cares though, play games the way they were meant to be played, for fun not petty console wars.

PS VR is the way to go. With ove 240 developers working on games and 50 games released by Christmas, Sony should do well. Hopefully the "Neo" is true and the matrix will look that much better this October for Sony's VR launch. I'm optimistic and have the PS VR bundle preordered, I can't wait.

I'll actually do the opposite. If the PS4K will make VR even better graphically, I'll buy it the second it comes out. With codenames like Morpheus and NEO, my guess is Sony was planning on releasing the new system along side the VR launch, and had VR in mind while creating it. The Matrix will be that much more enjoyable at launch if the rumors are true. Genius I think.
