I really dislike retailer exclusives but I don't like missing out on a great collectors edition.
Amazing numbers for sure, and Sony has yet to launch in China (which could provide another boost in sales).

IMO with more and more people streaming gameplay and posting their own opinions online, the only difference between those gamers and game journalists is that IGN, Polygon etc. get a copy of the game sometime before the release date. Professional critics in all forms of media seem less and less relevant in this day and age.
I think this will be a fitting send off for Metal Gear Solid. I know Hideo Kojima has said this before about the franchise, but didn't he receive death threats prior to directing Guns of the Patriots? I hope that won't happen again.

I guess this will be disappointing for people who wanted a console version.
DarkOcelet, if a woman chooses to become a porn actress, escort or similar, why does this automatically mean she should not be at least as respected as anyone else? If her profession is legal, what is the issue?
Although I wouldn't want my gf to be in the sex industry, I personally don't look down upon or condemn others if they choose to do that.
