Although they can cost a lot more, I can see developers choosing TV/Movie actors in order to increase hype and sales. Personally, having Keanu in the game changed it in a big way from the initial reveal, and I am not sure if the game will be better for it or not.
Also, instead of Johnny Silverhand, his last name could've been Wick, Utah, or Mnemonic as either one may be just as interesting.
I don't mind cinematic CGI trailers, but I'd just like Sony, MS, and game developers to be honest and don't call it 'gameplay' if it isn't.
I'm good. I don't buy Xbox consoles, games, or services anyway.

This is what happened in the first couple of years from the transition from last-gen to this gen. We still likely have GTA5, Skyrim, and Fortnite to come.
Many gamers were so starved for anything and their expectations were high. But we were never going to see anything 'next-gen' from 3rd party developers this early except for some upscaled cross-gen games. MS will be MS and they will hype up this like they always have. Too many gamers keep falling for it every time.
So good to see and hear the creativity of video game fans.

I read the spoilers. The story goes in an... interesting direction. But this is the choice of Neil Druckmann and ultimately the market will decide if it will be successful. The critics and fans can argue about everything else.
