I hope it doesn't get rushed out for the VR launch. I'd prefer that PD has more time to work on the game.
I think it does help if the reviewer is experienced with different types of games (platformer, RPG, FPS, etc). I wouldn't want the reviewer giving a game a low score just because they found the game 'too hard' because they get dying and couldn't finish it. Also, if the reviewer wasn't a fan of the genre, I would hope that the reviewer would try to be objective as possible.

What is the point of releasing a 'review in progress'? All it does is make fanboys angry and presents a problem because they have published a partial score.
Almost all of the games were multi-platform titles. Are there no PS4 exclusives releasing in Spring?

There is something very rewarding about learning a strategy to defeat a boss after losing several times. Unless it is a visual novel, video games are meant to be challenging. You are meant to learn timing your jump to cross onto another platform, or reading the moves of the AI opponent etc. There is no fun without a challenge imo.

I think Sucker Punch can do a great job with Spider-man, but they need to make sure they get the movie actors to do the voice work, swinging from building rather than thin air, and less repetition with the side quests/random encounters.

Up to 10 hours game time is a good option to have. Could you finish the SP campaign in that time?
You're right. It is overpriced but personally I think $150 is too high for the collectors edition. $100 seems fair to me.
