There are many reasons PC gaming has flourished. I think one of the main reasons is that it can be tailored to each person's taste. There is no one size fits all.
Did the same thing last year for both my sons. He told me to sell the Xbox (which is collecting dust).
Star Trek Online is cool. Both D&D games are good. You guys should like these games a F2P options.

Until people stop buying from EA, nothing will ever happen. Money talks and bullshit walks is the only tune EA listens. However this does give other developers, who want to deliver something good to people like us.
The only outside program that pops up on boot up is Spotify.

Bluetooth a controller. Hell I don't care, but when there is money to be made, someone will find away. And I see way more people playing on phones than I do PCs and consoles combined (me personally around in RL).

I disagree. Phones and Tablets now are not that great, but in the future they will be. This is no different from the new console vs the PC. Look how the console has come along.
I have been playing MMOs since UO. In UO you didn’t need a group, but needed one, meaning safety in numbers from other players. When EQ came out, you needed a group, if you were going to play that game, you best make some friends. From there MMOs got simpler and solo friendly.
