...but honestly, does it surprise anyone that the highly anticipated sequel to a now established franchise, garners a bit more interest than a new IP? Sure, Zipper Interactive is behind MAG and that's pretty much a good thing, but it's new...it's ambitious, and rightfully so there is a certain level of apprehension on the consumer side to pick up MAG. I mean...256 players, that's MASSIVE!!

Regardless, I was in a number of GameStop's yesterday and it seemed rather split down the...

Sure the original came out nearly a year later, but it was also treated to exclusive content AND a rather steady price reduction...I believe it was down to 19.99 in the first 2 months. At such a bargain price, 2K Marin all but assured the title would penetrate the user base with relative success.

Other side of the coin? Many heard about Bioshock but never played it, yet remained intrigued. Considering the Stroy-driven multiplayer mode takes place prior to the events of the fir...

...we're not getting the big picture here. There is no way in hell Capcom would gamble their highest earning franchise on a platform that holds less than 8% market share. Seems to me we're being treated with the same presentation Microsoft gave us on Metal Gear Solid: Rising...anyone remember that unveil? They sure wanted us to believe it was theirs and theirs alone.

I'll wait this out. I don't think Capcom is the best company as of late, but they're certainly not out of thei...

It makes perfect sense. Even though the original Japanese DLC was localized and is included ON-DISC, the programming would still require it to be installed and read from the HDD. I'm certain the dev team wouldn't go to the trouble to re-code the entire thing simply to save HDD space.

I'm sure if the images were fairly taken we'd see nearly an exact comparison. Problem lately is texture loads. We saw this on Borderlands with slow texture loads on the 360, but once everything caught up to the superior PS3 version, they looked nearly identical. Pity though considering these dials and such are likely seen in an action sequence (like the UFO jack), so the texture load lag is rather huge when you'll only see it for a brief moment.

They could buy its cancellation. Depending on what EPIC was paid, it could be cheaper to buy it back and take an initial loss only to recoup on the multi-plat sales of the title.

You can't get into the 3D iterations of some of your favorite series? Yeah, it says something alright noglis...it says that you have ADD!

That or you've simply never graduated, truly accepted the transition from beyond 8/16-bit 2D Graphics. There's simply no other way to explain it. You don't have to like 3D, that's your prerogative, but that's certainly NO indication the game doesn't live up to its predecessors. Wind Waker was and remains one of the truest 3D Zelda titles to...

...it's with him passing said opinion off as gospel. He says things like:

"I hope my opinions are wrong and the game is everything everybody is expecting and more. Unfortunately I doubt this is the case."

and

"If you think the game will be as good as the hype is making it out to be then I am confident you will be disappointed."

He's attaching such matter-of-fact statements to his opinion on a final product based ...

Pretty much sums up every point worth mentioning.

I do think you have to have some familiarity or love of Devil May Cry to enjoy the game, or perhaps this game will have those who have never played DMC seeking out its offerings. Hard to say really but the two series have very similar gameplay offerings.

That aside, the only reason anyone would really notice these differences is thanks to these companies who strive to micro-analyze every single multi-platform rel...

...but with those examples you supported the inferior port simply due to your blind loyalty. Why else would you pass up on additional content only available on the PS3 version of some of those games?

Robbie Bach just praised the competition...his direct competition...no slanderous remarks or mudslinging at all.

...and unless you have them side by side just like these compares go, you won't notice a difference. I bought it for the system I play most, so if that means I'm supporting a crappy port...oh well. My sole sale is unlikely to have any weight when sales figures are measured at the end of the week/month.

Nothing outside of an exclusive title will force my hand into paying for 360 games. I'll pick up Mass Effect 2, but only for the reason that my PC can't handle it.

I remember Microsoft singing a similar tune about HDMI...and Blu-Ray...

...guess we aren't learning from the past eh Mr.Greenberg?

I should also point out his misplaced concern about viewing 3D in the household. I don't know what kind of home he lives in, or how he was raised, but there's more than one way to exit a living room and people in my house sure as hell know it's best not to do so when it interferes with the screen. Walking in front of a TV when someo...

I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 2, other than that if Fable 3 doesn't hit this year, all my game purchases are for PS3. MAG, Star Ocean, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, Yakuza 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes...I mean, the list goes on and on. How can an article like this ignore some of those megaton exclusive titles?

...it's creating a Tidal Wave of Hype! I fell for it a number of times with their last two Halo titles and was greatly disappointed, and Natal will be no different. It's nothing more than a glorified PS2 eyeToy and I can't really see any application I'd enjoy taking advantage of its "unique" control mechanism. I barely enjoy the Wii unless it's playing a game with a Classic Controller, or a Wii remote held horizontally like a classic controller.

I'll give Xbox owners the fact they're finally getting a taste of God of War in this clone, it's a great clone at that...but God of War III? Sorry...you have to earn that greatness and its taken 3 games to get here (incuded Chains of Olympus). Dante's Inferno has taken a LOT of what makes the God of War series so great, but the fidelity and power of character and story writing is an obvious win for th GoWIII team.

LOVED it...I was really interested in this having watched the coverage over the last year or so. Glad the game translated well outside of print/web. I was a bit concerned how the gunplay would work but the tag-team like combos are really fantastic, and the cinematic nature of the moves are really quite enjoyable. I never felt there was an incredible learning curve with this portion of the game...granted it isn't the final build but I'm liking what I've seen.

Now...to import ...

Basically the top-down version of the PS2's Zombie vs Ambulance. As I was reading this I was thinking to myself, if they have people you rescue who upgrade your machine, it's a blatant copy...and it is.

That said...I love me some zombies so I'll take it...copy or not.
