I will be posting a blog about my Sony Press Conference/E3 experience. Being that this will be my first time attending the event, I can safely say that I'm very nervous and excited at the same time!. I'll try my best to get as much coverage as I can to share with everyone.
(Sidenote: Something that I think will make this all-the-more interesting, is that I'm attending the event strictly as a gamer.. I do not own/run a gaming website, nor am I apart of the media. M...
PS3 and 3DS battling it out eh?
Thanks Pete, but I'll be the judge of things from here on out.
I like how people are suddenly putting faith into Cloud computing, when in fact these people were not down for this type of idea a year back.
2011/2012: people were saying "Cloud technology won't work because we don't live in a world where 10+ mb connection is constantly stable and bandwidth fees aren't gone".
2013: " CLOUD COMPUTING IS AMAZING OMGOMGOMGOMGOOMG11!!!11!one! "
This next generation will decide whether or not this "console business is even worth keeping". Both Microsoft and Sony are aiming to see big numbers in the next few years coming from these new devices, but one can only wonder how happy they will be with the outcome.
I want the console market to succeed, but lets be honest.. today's consumer may not be as interested in these things compared to how they were 7 years ago. The harsh thought of these new consoles not...
Giving me achievements won't make me watch TV anymore than I do now.
Bandai Namco announces they are joining the Smartphone race!
Aside from jokes: Here's to hoping for something great.
This is old news. This was brought up months ago, yet no one wanted to believe it. Whether it's a few thousand or a few hundred thousand, PS3 is still now outselling 360.. which is funny because the fanboys were screaming for years "THAT'LL NEVER HAPPEN" and now they are saying "Doesn't matter now", ha.
Got it for 3 dollars, w00t.
Sounds interesting.
Being that he has worked with them before, I'm pretty sure he can spot when something seems like bullshit. But by all means it seems like he just doesn't like the X1.
How could you be okay with this type of thing?. I mean sure you like playing video games, but this goes beyond any type of media. Microsoft is already snooping in on peoples Skype conversations, so who are we to say they wouldn't use this as well.
#1 Never lasts though. It doesn't matter where you are in the beginning, but where you finish at the end. Take a look at 360.. it was ahead for so long but now it's finally been caught.. but of course since you probably think it's irrelevant now, you'll just brush it off.
As I've expressed in other articles, the mandatory Kinect just gives me a weird vibe..
I know a lot of people will say "so what, who cares" about it, but I'm definitely not down for this idea. I love playing video games, but I don't love them enough to a point where I will be willing to put a suspicious device in my living room or bedroom. You can call me whatever you want, paranoid, scared, stupid, etc,etc,etc.. I just don't see the point in it.
Why must details be disclosed until further time?.. do they really plan on wasting all of their E3 time explaining policies?
nah
X1 doesn't have bluetooth?, I thought it did for some reason.
I don't understand why it shouldn't be declared a next gen system. I mean maybe in terms of raw power it may not match up with PS4/X1.. but it still has a lot to it. I'm really excited for Smash Bros-U and Mario Kart-U.. they may not have super amazing graphics, but I'm sure they'll be a lot of fun to play.
The fact that it isn't optional is just sketchy to me. They may tell you that your privacy is safe, but honestly do you expect them to say "Yes, we are going to collect data on you and give it to anyone who wants it", of course not.
