Going to be an interesting weekend. Good luck!
It's not bad at all. If you factor the original phat X360 sold 40m at a 33% defect rate, that's 13.3m consoles that RROD.
Do you understand the difference? 13.3 MILLION.
So 40K consoles after selling 10 million is ridiculously low.
Yup. People keep trying to dismiss "indie titles" but they are going to miss out on games like The Witness.
Indie titles aren't graphical powerhouses and are about core gameplay experiences.
I think it's going to be a great balance overall.
Now the only thing I wish there were more of are RPGs. Looking forward to the Witcher 3, and hopefully Fallout 4.
Come on that's grasping for straws. We all know people bought the game for the Dogs. duhhhh

They made a wise decision to delay this game IMO. Hopefully it will pay off to be a better game overall.
There are a few other titles that could have used just a bit more time to iron out the kinks, IE: Dead Rising 3 and COD Goats
It's the fastest selling console in history, so let all the conspiracies and hatred come with it.
With that said I feel bad for those real people with an actual hardware defect, but that's the nature of the electronics industry.
They have 16+ worldwide studios making PS exclusives. That's all a gamer needs to know. There's going to be more games than people can play on top of many multiplatform titles that run great on the system.
They are already heading in that direction.
Man if 2K could pick up the license and make it similar to nba2k14, instant buy for me!
lol sureeeeeeeeeeee
Got mine from best buy. Zero issues.
What mess? This is probably the best launch in Sony's history. There are actually plenty of games to play on day one, the same couldn't be said for the PS1, PS2, and PS3.
Just wait until the Xbone launch before doing your happy dance. Don't be surprised if it ends up having more issues.
A lot of the people going from 360 to PS4 are more than likely those who enjoy multiplatform titles that perform better.
Whatever it is, Sony still has an uphill battle with the U.S. media though, but they are making some in roads. The reason I say this is because back when the 360 had better multiplats than the PS3, they made sure to mention how much better it is. Now the notion about PS4 vs X1 games is "ohh there's a tiny difference, 720p vs 1080p doesn't matt...
Add in some trolls who pretend to have a PS4 and says its bricked.
The only widespread problem of social media is the stupidity of humans.
The sales on launch is more like around 1 million in just NA alone. So you have a vocal minority with problems, and you have everybody else just playing on their PS4s with no problem. It's electronics people.
And you know all those Xbone fanboys better wait to eat crow once the Xbone launches, don't be surprised if it ends up having hardware issues. It definitely will but just like the PS4 launch it's going to be blown out of proportion by social media.
I played Knack before the PS4 came out, and it has a fun element to it, primarily timing of your attacks and the enemies. The graphics are good (not great). IMO it does deserve around a 7/10. Looking forward to get it when the price drops.
Killzone is the title to get, the graphics are amazing. The sp is the best in the series. It's not perfect and the story can fall flat a little here and there, but overall worth it. The mp is pretty fun too.
The best buy I picked up from had about 100 people picking up their preorder and sold some walk ins, but turned away about 200 people.
Yup nov 29 I believe.
Get used to this annoying behavior
"Ship it now, patch it later."
Definitely one of the worst things to come from last generation.
