R2 is f'in amazing and I'm buying it day one. It's just yeah, the Marksman is 95% similar to the Battle Rifle. Which actually can be a good thing, it's one of the best weapons so far.
Though with Insomniac's fine pedigree of unique weapons, it was surprising to see that happen.

@1.5 IGN doesn't average the score. They even say it in their review matrix.
Yup, that's why I'm boggled by this website to claim the graphics are an issue.
The graphics is one of the strongest points in the game, next to the story and gameplay.
I have 3 friends with their 360's RROD. One of them, ended up getting a PS3. One sent it to MS and got a replacement. The other one took the cover off and used a fan to cool the processor, then it works again lol.
And the funny thing, is that my 360 20gb "deluxe edition" is still running strong since launch. And this is with hours upon hours of gaming.
I love that one, Chicken Kicker... Not only is it hilarious to me, but the characters in the game feel the same way. :D
Whaaaa they are complaining about the graphics? Personally I think this game is up there in style and technical wizardry. You gotta see it on a 46" TV to understand. There's hardly any aliasing at all, I'm thinking 4x anti-aliasing.
And it's not even just that, the style reminds me of something from the Neverending story. Very colorful but not over saturated. And the character models are just right, cartoony but with a hint of realism.
Hate to say it, but Insomniac ripped off Halo with that one.
Needless to say though the battle rifle is my favorite weapon in Halo 3. And yes, the Marksman is exactly the same.
To describe Resistance 2 online is like Halo 3 mixed with COD4 mixed with WoW (insane amount of exp points).
Fable 2 lives up to the hype and the story is very intriguing.
However, my main gripe is with the controls. Feels like they put a 2 second lag on purpose just to move your character.
Awesome, hopefully we get to use them in Starcraft II Part One.

I'm gonna put some energy here and try to help you with that one cause I was sort of in the same boat.
To me, I didn't like the cartoony character models. The decision to tell the story through record tapes. The graphics seemed overrated.
But, I replayed the game again on my 360 and have found new light within the game.
The character models were cartoony or a better word would be "stylized" for a reason. I get the sense if they made them pho...
Dead space nails the Scary thing because of it's atmosphere and clever use of creepy music.
However, number one scary game for me would go to Fatal Frame. It's like what, all you get is a friggin' Camera and you have to take pictures of Ghosts?
What scares me more than zombies or zombie-like creatures, are supernatural beings where you cant hit it with a weapon. It gives that feeling of helplessness and gets into my head even more.
