I'm still getting FFXIII on the PS3 regardless. It's still going to be better than 95% of the JRPGs already out this generation.
The problem is that on a 9gb DVD, developer's only get to use 7gb's anyway. So if Square wants the FMVs to be in 1080p HD, or even at best 720p HD, it's going to use a LOT of space. On top of that, having lossless 7.1 audio too.
So who was really surprised by this? Honestly. Who was? Oh yeah, the hordes of "but but but it's going to be the same or superior on 360!"

I'm with everyone else on the whole not buying the next console for at least 1-2 years. I'll milk the PS3 for as long as I can.

I want a G27, G25 or even the official GT wheel. Most likely I'll end up with the GT wheel because of cost, but it's still fantastic. I loved it on GT4 and now with the updated physics in GT5, it's going to be hand and hand in driving simulation bliss.
