I don't see why they couldn't have just pushed it into Feb or April. Heck, April might be fine considering that's around when GT5 hits. And GT5 is a completely different demographic so it might not even put a dent on Yakuza 3 sales. But March? I have to agree with others, it's such a bad move. I'd be lucky to rent it.
$200 isn't exactly the sweet spot. Look at how long the 360 is at $200, yet it's not flying off the shelves.
It still boils down to content and value. Although value is taking a back seat to consumers because of the economy.

That's the crazy part. There's so many different CEOs in Sony, which means there's tons of different bosses with different ideas.
I know, sadly. FFVI was to me is the best FF in the entire series. The story, the character development, the graphics (at the time), the music, the villain, the character designs, etc. etc. etc.
I don't know about other people, but I never minded waiting for Shadow at the end until the last 3 seconds.
It's coming eventually. I think even when they saw the sales of when FFVII came out on PSN it's a good indication of how sales of a remake would be.
Finally, a FFVI lover like myself. I like FFVII, but FFVI is the real game I'd kill to see a re-make. Heck, it doesn't even have to be a full 3D remake or anything, if it's re-released with semi updated graphics I'd buy it in a heart beat.
You and me both. Except that GoWIII and GT5 are pretty much must haves in my book. Even if I'm dead broke, I'm going to scrounge up any money I can just to have those two titles. Everything else can wait.

To play PS3 *EXCLUSIVE* games, you need a PS3 and only a PS3.
To play so called "console" exclusives, you can still play them on a PC which is another viable platform. And could it not be argued that PC EXCLUSIVES require only a PC to play? Like WoW, Starcraft II, Counterstrike etc...
I don't get Kotaku's point. Who cares if it was delayed, it's not like we're still waiting for it. And besides, it was probably best for the game and it showed.
They can delay Batman Arkham Asylum 2 for all I care just as long as they do what they need to do to deliver us another great game.

It seems that Uncharted 2 is so damn good, trolls cant downplay it but they sure can downplay other PS3 games just fine.

Different graphics for different purposes though. Uncharted 2 has more of a clean and detailed look while KZ2 has a lot of special effects. Both are still the best graphics on consoles to date. GoWIII will easily join that rank.
Is anyone really surprised something positive for the PS3 is getting spun into something bad?
For crying out loud, it's 1.5 million sold out of 4 million. By the end of the month it's going to be 2 million, which is a 2 to 1 ratio.

It's plastic, it can always scratch. It's just significantly harder to scratch compared to DVDs.
I have 30 PS3 games and 70 blu-rays and not a single one has a scratch.
That's great, but if they want it to be successful and get more sales from non-fans to make them become fans, even a 10 year old can see it's a bad business decision.
