LOL Hellsvacancy hit the nail on the head
The PS3 beta felt really rough and I felt like it couldn't decide which it wanted to be, COD or Battlefield. However, the recent PC beta changed my mind with the different maps, obviously better graphics, less bugs, and it was just pure fun. It's not overly frustrating with the cheapness and silliness like COD.
I've been playing the SP for a little while and it's pretty good. The problem is the Unreal Engine 3 looks terrible. UGHHHH I'm sick of developers using that crappy engine.
MOH single player with UE3 is a huge turnoff though.
But the PC MP Beta was pretty fun. I might get it just for that.
Yeah it's better than the writers who don't make any attempt to write in proper english at all, let alone sound intelligent.
Well to be fair, as long as they are under Activision, they will keep making COD games which is all in the shadow of Infinity Ward.
Sony's best "Move" was to hire him. har har har
I approve of this entire comment thread.
Of course they compare it to Uncharted 2, it's one of the best games of this generation.
I wonder what they will say about the 360 version?
GoW is far from unresponsive. I hit light attack he light attacks, I hit heavy attack he heavy attacks, i hit jump, he jumps.
Enslaved "can" be fluid, it's just when you hit attack, it animates for 1 second to attack, then when you hit jump, it animates a jump for 1 second. etc. etc.
That's what I mean by unresponsive controls. It just takes the feeling away of control from the character, which quite frankly takes a bit of the fun out of it...
I've been playing it on the 360. The story, world, and overall concept is very good. But I feel the unreal engine is dated for this type of title. "TeH Jaggiez" makes it look terrible. And the unresponsive controls is a turn off sometimes. They put too much emphasis on canned animations.
Otherwise, 8/10 is about right.
Meh, I usually pick the default character in the case of Mass Effect. He looks like a Shephard and acts like one. And it helps given that we see him in all the trailers.
However, the character customization worked pretty well in Halo Reach. Regardless of what combat helmet or color I picked, Noble 6 was still a badass.
The MP is actually pretty fun, on the PC at least. I played the PS3 beta, while it had some fun moments, it wasn't really a standout title.
I love how fable's going to be on pc
The problem is that while Sony and even Microsoft are increasing the value of their consoles like bigger HDDs, built-in wifi in the 360's case, game bundles, etc. etc.
The Wii's answer?
Introduce new colors.
Yeah, Nintendo is the real bastard this generation but everybody cant see it.
You know it could just be the difference between the A-Team and the B-Team.
Maybe the B-Team is just more creative since they aren't restrained by heavier standards and so they can make better portable games.
The A-Team however are too damn focused on making graphics and completely forgetting the gameplay.

Well if FF13 was garbage, then the sub-hd 3 disc 360 version is at the bottom with the maggots.
If FF14 sucks this much on PC, then FF14 360 version=
