I'm very curious about your definition of reaching full potential. 60 million + bought a PSP because it was lacking games?

how bout you try http://plug-in.bestbuy.ca/t...
edit: "...For the last six years, the Wii has pushed the limits of what we had originally thought were possible to get out of our console games..." ಠ_ಠ
oh wells. Have been looking forward to this title even before it went xbox "exclusive". I'll go for the portable option. If they're still rocking stereo 3D on the big brother version, I'll bite too.
Balls
Microsoft quietly giving in. That's refreshing. Nothing to signal a change in the coming ways, but refreshing.
Thanks for the news refresh.
I wish PC only gamers well, with the most recent wake of news on W8. Now any app using DX11.1 will only be compatible with W8? And all W8 apps are going through and need certification through the new Windows store?
Awesome possum MS.
I've been around for along enough relative to videogames on both PCs and consoles to be of strong opinion that PC gamers will be rolling with whatever "level" the next xbox sets. I used to be an avid PC gamer for about 15 years until monopolization of OS platforms and development APIs resulted in PCs becoming Directx boxes. This looks to be more so evident with the most recent W8 release.
I hope I'm wrong.

I heart APUs. Not as much as SoC, but eh. Currently running an A8-3500; thing runs cool and quite.
The curious thing about this news, if true, is what graphic core they're gonna go with.
Having read 4 of your comments in 4 articles that I've visisted over the past 12 hours, I surely know what to think.
Can't wait for the GOTY/Ultimate/Complete/Funpack Edition. (no/s)
Wholeheartedly agree with you. I've been suggesting a similar model. Its one that I think meets at a middle ground between customer and business.
With each new purchase, include a code (yes! kind of like an online pass. gasp ;)) that entitles the person that uses the code to ALL DLC for that title. This would be a big hit against the used market (which publishers cheese and wine about all the time)as almost anyone would pick a new copy over used. Plus it would allow the ...
Boooo. I was really looking forward to get this. Hope this doesn't foreshadow the status of Zone of the Enders HD for PSV.
In my opinion it would be an understatement to call something like this coming into fruition stellar, albeit I still lean towards a Chrono title exclusive on the Vita for that system seller effect.
*reads his comment* wow, I'm drunk
I was contemplating the use of /s. Should've gone with my gut I see.
LOL. I sees what yous done therez.
Doom and Vita go hand in hand. ;)
ehhhhhh, I disagree and agree to a particular extent. Both have held each other back, but the douche trophy still goes to MS, let me explain.
When multiplat games are being made nowadays, as compared to lets say 4-5 years ago, there is really no LEAD platform per say anymore, only a lowest common denominator ;).
So, the majority of MP apps look at whats available to them. All the top, PC, PS3, Xbox (from a tech perspective)targets, use at least 1 power pc core running...
Que people making comments dropping words like "engine" and "architecture" without any understanding of the meaning or concept behind them.
*glances up* :( too late.
edit: on a technical level the PS3 is tapped out when it comes to the exlusive software available for it. The engines used made with the PSGL API pretty much open up the entire hardware to be used, therefore it is utilized fully; from the GPU to the CPU to the SPUs.

Because people are clowns.
Just for shits and giggles I decided to dig some numbers out for when the psp came out. Right now the Vita is behind PSP sales (1 year sales) by roughly 200k units.
The PSP ended selling 65+ million units, so if the current trend continues and the Vita sells HALF that, I would call it a success.
